For Nintendo to abandon the Wii and to either make a console from the good old day's of the 64 and gamecube or just to make games for other consoles.

So Nintendo. Either grow up with your fan base or stop turning good ideas into bad reality. Yes The Wii was said to 'Revolutionise' game play. But it hasn't, its just a laptop that requires you to purchuse each key for the keyboard seperetaly from about 50 shops, infact I believe that the new On-live thing is gonna be the next thing to 'Revolutionise' game play. Just as the Cd-rom was... oh hand on nintendo... your the last company to being useing disks, and just as blue-ray come out. KEEP UP NINTENDO!

Hmmm will Nintendo stand a chance against On-Live ? we can easily see Sony and Microsoft keeping up with such a revoloution but nintendo does seem to be the one that's going to drift off

Nothing much, save maybe a little more ergonomic Wiimote. The games are going to be designed for wider audiences (Get over it), and that's fine by me. It's going to have quirky controls, and that's even better by me (It's called "innovation"). As far as online play is concerned, personally I can't be bothered anyway unless it's on the PC - I'd rather invite two or three friends over and play in the same room as a rule of thumb. Graphics might be nice, but then I'll tolerate a bit of frameyness if the gameplay and story are good.

Yes, I'm a casual gamer, and I'm sitting on my fence rather than go and get slaughtered in the Great War

HD games and at least Dolby 5.1 in games. My god, even PS2 had proper sounding games.

You realise a better output would just make games look worse save for the ones where the developers put some real effort in?

As it always has been with Nintendo consoles, a few games that really excel because of the good work of the developers, amidst a sea of shoddy ports and film tie-ins.

3. Proper 5.1 support

4. 802.11n and removal of friend codes from online play for new games

And I know it's not technically part of the console, but a DECENT GAMES LIBRARY would help.

I'm happy with GHWT and Wii Fit, but my son is desperately looking for a Pokemon game on the Wii. Why is it on the DS but not on the Wii?

There are home console Pokemon games, but they have a different play style, as Pokemon suits handhelds better. However if you want some Pokemon games for the Wii try Pokemon Battle Revolution or Pokemon Ranch(Actually stay away from Ranch...).
