You aren't alone, I've actively avoided it as well. I actually have the comics or at least the first 3 TPB's and I'll admit they're pretty good.

It's just that at some point in late 2010 I just got a major case of Zombie burnout.

I just don't care anymore. Don't care about Dead Island or Dead Rising, Marvel Zombies, World War Z, Zombie Moby Dick, The Zombie Survival Guide or any of the nearly endless onslaught of titles that follow the "[Insert word here] of the (living) Dead" formula.

These days it's pretty much Evil Dead and the Resident Evil games...that's my limit on Zombie related media that I'll bother paying any attention to.

Edit: Haw! Really late to the party on this one. That'll learn me not to read the posting date on an article before I reply to it.

Edit: ^^^^ Thanks, dude. I guess that explains the lack of poor reviews since it took a little while for the show to drop into the toilet.

If the comic book is as poorly written as the tv show I wouldn't boother with any of it.
