Our race has many superior qualities, compared with other races.
Does it mean the human race? I agree because well, you don't see crows creating a justice system now do you?

All authority should be questioned.
I kind of disagree. ALL authority? Like my boss telling me to get back to work? Or the security guard at my office building asking for my badge? Judicial authority should be questioned all the time, but questioning small stuff like being asked for ID is just heavy handed.

People with serious inheritable disabilities should not be allowed to reproduce.
I agreed with this. It just seems unfair to the child that it would have to live with it's parents disabilities. And a bit less so to tax payers that will probably have to support the child.

Multinational companies are unethically exploiting the plant genetic resources of developing countries.
I wrote a paper on how globalization impacts developing countries. If you just give a 10 second Google search to "average income in developing nations," sense the 50's it has been going nowhere but up. What has half the world in poverty 60 years ago is now like a sixth.

But plants? Don't we genetically modify them already? And doesn't it give us more food at a cheaper cost? Making it available to more people? Come on hippies this one's a no-brainer.

Oh yeah, mine looks like all of yours, just a little bit closer to authoritarian than most of you though.

I pretty much followed the group although I honestly thought I would be in the purple quadrant but whatever.

Honestly I am a bit surprised, thought I would be more to the right.

Why would I hurt you? You're an endangered species! There's only about 3 of you in existance!

well I always call myself center right. probably got that score thanks to my views that the government needs to stay the fuck away from business and that if you can work but chose not to, you can fuck right off. Some of those questions were hard to answer in multiple choice, for example the one that was something to the effect of "do you think people are to open about sex" I answered strongly agree, because I'm tired of ever conversation somehow turning to so-and-so's latest meaningless one night stand not for "moral" reasons but because I just don't want to know.

I'm pretty average with everyone else here, quite interesting that we all share similar hobbies and apparently political views

Well, seems like i join the left-bottom group, like most of the people in this thread. Yay, i guess. Not 100% sure what that actually means.

The test's wording is dripping with bias on some of those questions, but oh well. Would you rather a globalized economy benefitted everyone in general, or just a few elite groups? Gee wiz, test, I don't know, you're so very neutral on the matter that it's just too grey of a situation to call.

Some of those questions are too vague as well. But I guess it's more about general philosophical/ideological position than a concrete stance?

I'm the same as everyone else here, Quadrant 3.

I did this a year or so ago and my result then was:

Did it again for this thread and:

I've moved further left and further down on the chart. Should I be worried? o_O

Look at that deviant straddling the green/purple line! Let's get him!
I wanna get in on that. You and I, BloatedGuppy, straddle buddies. Look how close those dots are! I'm pretty sure we're the two most like-minded people in this thread. And that means we win. Wonder Twin powers activate!

I'm at -5.29 and -5.63, so I'm firmly in the green. I suspect that to some degree that was influenced by all the questions on things like religion, racism, women, morality, and unquestioning obedience, which I was able to answer in seconds with 'Strongly Disagree'.

Always been left, always will be left. Well, I had 1 bum test where I ended up getting right wing, but that's not really relevant. I utterly despise the way political choices essentially revolve around choosing the right or not-as-right.

You're slightly more to the left than me, you tree hugging socialist hippy. I'll have no part of your hemp smoking, welfare-collecting lifestyle. It's a return to the traditional values of my perspective that will make this country great!

Economic Left/Right: -2.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.74

Centralist(although I feel the definition of my result is well placed, and I've pretty much got the same result, it felt very Spartan on the amount of questions)

mm, I'd say that was about right, I was expecting a little more left in my head, but I suppose this makes sense, while I'm all for liberty and freedom of expression, certain things I have views on that would be considered "right" wing. But not from spite, or prejudice, that in the world we live in...sometimes there are necessary evils. While I'm for social liberty, I do feel the need to have /someone/, be that a person or a governing body, in charge for society to not just fall apart, someone needs to be there to set the standards and manage things on a large scale for the entire country, unfortunately most of the time it's the corrupt and dodgy that end up being the position of power. /Mainly/ because they're corrupt and dodgy.

I also support the death penalty in extreme cases, but it's a dodgy area, because where do you set the line? And what if someone innocent dies? I have a certain level of cognitive dissonance in that area, as I do strongly believe someone like Josef Fritzl, or the Aurora Shooter could never be rehabilitated, as it's something at their very core, the dark passenger, to use Dexter terminology, and as such should be put to death, but those are very specific circumstances, as there is no way that it couldn't have been them.

Plus the questions on corporations/capitalism sort of borked things. I'm not opposed to capitalism or corporations per-say, just the people in charge of them, the concept I have no problems with, it's just that again it's always dicks that end up in control. I guess I should actually be sitting somewhere on the green/purple line.

Although it is laughable with a good amount of Americans using the "YOU FILTHY LIBERAL!" insult, when both the liberal and conservative leaders both get high right wing authoritarian scores. I mean Obamas only a square below Romney!

Apparently I'm a bit more leftist than I expected. I'd expected to be leftist...not necessarilly to be almost to the edge completely. Not surprised by the libertarian bit really. Seems around accurate. Not that there's any liable to be elected candidates anywhere near such. We really do have Right and Extreme Right as choices. Democrats are pretty much where the Republicans were in Reagan's days...and the Republicans have drifted off somewhere further to the right. At least some social issues like homosexual rights are finally showing SOME improvement... but... lots of staunch blowback and fighting tooth and nail, too.

I'm also slightly further down than you, you authoritarian, warmongering, gun-toting, hippy killing, corporation loving, environment destroying asshole! I'll see you in hell, which may or not exist. Have fun clubbing those baby seals and chinchillas with the butt of your machine gun. Wonder Twin powers deactivate!

Interesting, most of us seem to be left/liberal (myself included). So why is the west dominated by right wing authoritarian fuck nuts?
