Even the best recent would be a sadistic and strong female dwarf from a rouge-like. Thankfully she only cut of limbs from those who deserved it, but even then it's not great. And I'm not sure if she had a beard or not, female dwarves don't in regular dwarf fortress but I was playing Genesis mod so I'm not sure.
