When somebody generalises by saying Conservatives ban games, that's misrepresentation and insulting. When you throw exactly the same accusation towards a different political group, it's all well and good.
How is pointing out the fact that for the past few years the push against games has been from socialists anything other then pointing out the fact that, well, it's been years since there was a major push from a different source. In the first world at least.
You can throw the accusation, but then you can't complain about politically-generalising insults. Or you can complain about politically-generalising insults, but then you can't throw the accusation. You can do one or the other; to do both is transparent hypocrisy.
Except again, pointing out that over the past few years its been socialists trying to ban games they don't like isn't hypocritical of me in the slightest, it would be hypocritical if I was stating that only socialists try to ban games, or that it's somehow different when conservatives try to ban games, but I did neither, only point out a fact, one that makes my wing of politics look bad to boot.
I know this place has had a long history of English-to-English translations problems, but this is a new one.
