This will be my first RP.
The factions you pick will decide which factions we follow.
This RP will have a political side as well as a military side. I will control the leaders of the nations, you will be either in a Military or a diplomat. I know it sounds complex for a first RP, but I have a good idea of where to take this.
Just post some characters, I will pick a character limit once I see some sheets. I'm going to try to keep it around 10 though.

With tension building all over the world, and more and more powers stockpiling weapons, Earth is rapidly approaching a new Dark Age. With Canada and America signing a pact to form the North American Coalition, Europe dividing into several factions, and Asia threatening to be swept away in a brutal conflict between China and Japan, World War III may not be far off. Noone knows how it started, and everyone fears how it may end.

Bio: The child of two RNoN sailors, he grew up with his now deceased grandparents in Norway while his parents were sailing aboard the "RNoN Uredd" submarine. At the age of 15 his parents and their vessel were recorded MIA after a "Training mission" in the North Sea (Only later did he discover that they were spying on the United European Nations). He was devastated and for nearly a whole year he shut himself off from the outside world. He did not recover before his grandfather (an old commercial diver) took him out diving, hoping that perhaps the sights of the marine life and the splendor of the sea would cheer him up.
Diving became his new passion, and at the age of 18 he was conscripted into the Navy and was quickly relocated to Marine Jeger Kommandoen (Naval Ranger Command) Norway's best Special Forces.
He decided to enlist after his national service and was granted the rank of Fenrik.
Description: At 6,2 foot tall, 170 lbs, he's a rather tall and slim. He has a great deal of strength, but his strong suit is his stamina. Has short brown hair and a well trimmed mustache, his face is weathered and he has a slight tan.
Wears green combat fatigues, field cap, a black bulletproof vest w/ green cover up and a green combat harness. Still has the RNoN anchor, and MJK pins pinned on his cap and shoulder.

Appearance: Clean shaven, with very short brown military stile hair and blue eyes. He is 181 cm (5' 11") tall, with a strong muscular build. He has a small scar across his left cheek.
Personality: Outgoing, very competitive, he's a born leader, and can keep cool and think straight even in situations of extreme pressure. He is also very ruthless with his enemies.
Background: He was born into a very patriotic family with a proud military tradition, with his grandfather being one of the soldiers that defended Leningrad in WW2, while his father served on a submarine during the Cold War. Because of this he joined the military as soon as he could. He has very strong nationalistic feelings and is very bitter towards America and it's Western allies. He would love to see Russia re-gain the power it had during the times of the Soviet Union.

After his first four year he decided to stay in the military as a career choice. He's strongly opposes the war but will serve his country to the fullest

Background: Born into a highly placed English family, William's future was never uncertain. He received excellent (and expensive) education at the best schools and university available, and enrolled with the British Consulate, and given still more training in every skill he would need to be a diplomat. He is soon to be sent out to an embassy in foreign lands

Brad had no qualifications in school and the army seemed the only door left open for him, ever since he went in the army he hasnt thought of leaving, he joined the army primarily to give money to his family, with them dead when he was 25, Brad now see's his squadron as his new family.
