To be immortal in the way that means never going to die of old age, I'd still be as easy to kill as a normal human, and can get sick. Simply immunity to age and nothing else.

I'd do that, but the things that come to life are still only in two dimensions, and the perspective makes them look weird. Also, they're made out of the paper you draw them on, so they break really easily.
