EA and Activision are the leaders for me, but only because I already don't like most of Ubisoft's games, otherwise they'd probably be close to tied with the former two.

Capcom also sucks very hard too, with their moneygrubbing. It makes enjoying any of their games next-to-impossible when they lock out content on the disc and look for cheap cash-ins.

Also, any game with always-on DRM is an instant 0/10 for me.

It gave me little motivation to play it, it had no story whatsoever, it hardly lasted a few days, and overall it felt like a downloadable title they sold at full price. What greedy corporate shithead would-

I'll admit $60 was too much of a price but it's not like something like New Super Mario Bros. really offers anything more in terms of story and gameplay. A game doesn't need a deep story to be good.

I don't know what kind of beef you could possibly have with the best company of the generation. They recently released Megaman X-2 on the Virtual Console too.

When they get their asses away from re-releases, overdosing on DLC, and Gears of Zombeez: The Legacy of Artificial Intelligence Co-op- The "How We're Going To Keep Ruining the Horror Genre" Edition maybe I'll consider them better. In other words, when they stop pissing off their long time fans in exchange of sucking off the CoD crowd. Otherwise, they haven't done a damn thing I care about since 2008.

If we get E.X Troopers they'll get a "lapse in judgement" purchase from me. Don't say DmC or RE: R either, because those were just outsourced developers doing something Capcom can't: their jobs.

Also, it's just X2. No dash. Mega Man fans will bite your dick off faster than a piranha for that mistake.

OT: Eh... I can't really summon fake/ott fury at devs, so I can't really do this evil thing. EA and Activision (and Capcom and Ubisoft too) all have done some shifty business stuff but they are all publishers. I'm pretty sure most people on the dev side of things just want to make games.

I wouldn't care, but we've never even seen a real reason. Since admitting that it has nothing to do with their reprehensible DRM shenanigans (which would be a genuine reason to ***** about ubisoft), the only thing I've been able to decipher is that he just doesn't like Rayman. Which seems like a flimsy excuse for the sheer amount of bile.

O/T, I really don't like Blizzard for the whole Diablo 3 thing recently. The fact that a lot of people are not only tolerating it, but actively defending, it really makes me worry for the industry.

Capcom, without a doubt. Still have not forgiven them for changing the platform Monster Hunter 3 was going to be on from PS3 to the Wii. I have been a fan of the Monster Hunter series ever since the beginning and sank weeks worth of time into the PSP titles. When I heard it was for the PS3, I thought it meant better graphics and the ability to play online. Then they put it on the Wii... Damn it Capcom.

Hands down and feet chopped off EA is the greatest evil to ever foul the video game world.

This is Kane from the Command & Conquer series. Developed as the leader of the Brotherhood of Nod. This guy is one of the greatest villains ever, he pretty much is the guy who invented the cut scene, or at least how to do it right. But that doesn't matter because as a character he was awesome beyond what most evil guys turn out to be.

Westwood, now either apart of EA or the main faction of their disillusion created Petroglyph. We're the original game studio in charge of the game. And they delivered the creme of the C&C series. Once EA took over things still went rather well with Kane and the game as a whole in C&C 3. But C&C 4, a travesty is the least insulting thing I could say. It's just betrayal.

EA is Evil Ascended. And I wish this titan to fall for what it did.

I have never played any Assasin's Creed game because it's buried under all the garbage Ubisoft releases.

EA gave us the pretty decent Dead Space Extraction.

So EA releases this game and a whole lot of other garbage too, but that's okay.

Ubisoft releases a game (I'd argue more than one) that's "pretty decent", but you write them off because of the "other garbage".

Not exactly new, I just haven't posted much before. I amused myself reading his rants about Ubisoft yesterday, so I thought it might be fun to actually join in this time.

It's sad really that we're sitting here calling developers evil, in my opinion. At first I just responded to it in reference to publishers because I thought that was more relevant, but now that I look at it the point should be made that for the most part developers are more than happy to just make games and it's the publishers who do the whole shitty DRM and high prices thing.

Ubisoft isn't that bad compared to Activision and EA.

Activision gave us the awesome Call of Duty games. EA gave us the pretty decent Dead Space Extraction. What did Ubisoft give us?
