I fail to see how Coheed is "generic" by anyone's standards. Even just their CONCEPT sets them apart from everyone else in the music industry.

This is the only song I've ever heard from this band, but one is enough. If you don't laugh at 0:59 or 1:18, you have no soul, or more inexplicably, you like this band.

i dont mind them, though i find the chorous too... shall we say emo bullshit?

OT: ke$ha, jonas bros, naked brothers band, all country music, justin beiber.

The singer is auto-tuned. Screw that.

I totally forgot about Country music. I was forced to listen to 2 hours straight of country music back in '04 while I was in New Mexico, and that was enough to last me a lifetime. And the vast majority of rap/hip-hop music should go away. All of my friends in high school listened to either Nickelback or rap, and I have learned to hate it to the point that I want to punch whoever turns it on.

which Red? There's at least two. One's a christian band, the other is something else. The christian band one is pretty good.

My picks: If solo artists count as bands, then Ke$ha definitely wins, but I think more people are realizing she sucks. The sad thing is that she doesn't seem to think so.

Have you heard their newest album? It's better than their first one. I'm not partial to "Hide" either. Or Already Gone. Pieces, on the other hand is a pretty good song.

Nirvana - Just my least favourite massive band in the genre ever. Cannot stand any of their albums. I've tried, I really have.

I'm with you on this one. I just can't stand Nirvana. Hairbands disappeared because of THAT? Well thanks a lot, Kurt Cobain.

Also there's a band I saw on youtube once, can't remember the name. It was a bunch of guys dressed in robes and the "music" basically consisted of white noise. And they were popular. The hell?

I don't have a problem with people liking them, I just cannot stand their music. Not my thing one bit at ALL.

Nickleback really, really aren't that bad. They're really pretty average, but if you listen to a few of their older songs there are some fairly good ones (I do like Flat On The Floor).

Whilst I'm fairy sure they're not the worst band on the planet, Nine Inch Nails send me to sleep.

Does Claudio's voice annoy you or something? Can't think of any other reason why you wouldn't like them.

Anyway, the obvious Brokencyde nomination.

Does his voice annoy me? Do chickens wish they could fly? His voice annoys everyone, even if they won't admit it. They don't have good-sounding instruments either.

The only time his voice really annoys me is if he sings really low and quiet. He sounds like a creeper then.

As for the instruments, I think they sound fine, personally. I don't really pay attention to that too much though unless it's an awful production.

COLDPLAY AND U2.

For me its more to do with their holier than thou attitude, plus the blandness.
U2 are just ... how do I explain, painful but I think that one is just an attitude thing. (Joshua Tree is a relatively good album, but that is the only one I can say that about in my opinion)

I would put down most of Disney Incs little lot, but I thought this was about bands, not the latest haircut in fashion.
