The biggest piece of arse I bought this year is Brink.
It had so much potential, but blew it all to hell.

You were really expecting that to be good? The only letdown is that they priced it at $60 when it should've been a cheap $10-15 downloadable thing.ThunderCavalier said:Basically.The_root_of_all_evil said:Duke.
Nukem.
For-never.
Definitely not the worst game ever, but definitely the biggest letdown ever.

Yeah, I agree with this guy. Catherine's developers made it pretty damn clear what kind of game they were making from the start, too, so... I don't really know what you bought or played that game expecting to get. The game's cover should have tipped you off if not anything else.Balvale said:A game that had above average VA's, great(and unexpected)sales, unique gameplay, dealt with largely unexplored social themes, and had a drinking simulator. Uh huh, terrible game... As for the date-sim thing, you start out with a girlfriend, so yea, I guess you win right out of the gate.
But hey, it's not for everyone. I can understand that. Condemning it as a terrible game though, that's a failure to look at things objectively.
Question... Have you ever played a bad game from another country? And, when you did... did you blame the country itself?Raika said:The worst game I've played so far this year is Catherine. Way to go, Japan, you've made yet another terrible game with a dating sim tire-ironed into it, then populated it with a cast of completely unlikeable characters. Let's hear it for Japan, everyone!
I saw the "Extra Credits" on that game, and wow, it sounds terrible for so many reasons.Adrian Neyland said:Call of Juarez: The Cartel
