El Shaddai. The art design was great, but oh sweet jesus the level design was bad. Combat was the exact same three enemies in the same featureless arena with the same couple abilities for the ENTIRE game. And combat wasn't rare or anything, you just do the same exact battle over and over and over and over again. Like, every five fucking minutes. And the battles went on for goddamned ever because the enemies all have like 900% health for some reason. Then there was some of the worst platforming I've ever experienced. I hated it. And I really, really wanted to like it.
