There Is No Point Sniping On COD Online

What i'm trying to say here is on COD4 or COD WAW, what is the point of Sniping coz with shit like Kill-Cam the enemy know ur position and will spawn and hunt u down or find a spot and easily Snipe u back coz they know where u are, also for the record, I use SMG guns mostly, i'm just talking about about my experience when I use Sniper Rifles, so i'm not being biased, what are other peoples thoughts on this Subject???

It's Called a secondary weapon and dont forget your claymores. Besides if you stay scoped in for a few seconds after your snipe the cant tell exactly where your at. Learned this through expirence, trust me it works. Also dont forget to relocate every few minutes.

Yes, there is a point in sniping, there is just no point in you using them if you are just going to whine to the escapist about how it doesn't work...for you!

And try to use proper grammar..the escapist is somewhat formal of a posting site.

A good sniper would be able to make a kill on an online game with killcams, and still be alright because they'd relocate. And they use mines to cover their back as well (because some online teammates really aren't that useful...)

Can't help but agree when my "Sniper" kit in CoD 4 is a G3 or M14 with an ACOG Scope... Then again I always play Hardcore mode so It works just as good as a Sniper Rifle, but it has more rounds.

Of course, if you're playing as a team like you're supposed to, you shouldn't really be needing the killcam to know where you're being shot from.

Good idea, also I do relocate, but u gotta be careful coz not so much on COD4, but more on COD WAW, there aint a lot of good Sniping Positions on the maps and the Spawn Points are all over the place, so to be honest, this thread is pointed at COD WAW more than COD4.
