A proper, carefully-crafted sequel to Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction.
Wow. That realization affected me more than I thought.

The first Mercenaries games was ultimate! The sequel was, let's just say it, a bug-laden pile of excrement. No polish in that game at all and the multiplayer coding was horrendous. I don't want to say it's Pandemic's fault... but I don't want to fill these forums wiht more EA hate than is already on here, hah.

At least the Just Cause developers have stepped up to take the spot left open by Pandemic.

There will never be a game developed in the United States with even quasi-explicit sexuality that isn't out-and-out pornography.

One day, EA CEO John Riccitello gets up, puts on a dunce hat and parades through New York in a clown car with the words "I AM SO SORRY" written on a piece of paper affixed to his chest. Afterwards, he holds a press conference to apologize for the fact that his company contributed to anti-consumer policies and the degradation of the gaming industry as a whole, and, as a result, he has elected to give the next game the company produces away for free.

Then, he decides to restart Pandemic, Bullfrog and Westwood Studios, and gives them carte blanche to make whatever games they want. Bioware suddenly learns that there is no corporate shoulder looking over, and decides to retcon the ME3 ending so that it ends happily, along with apologizing for their behaviour over the last few months.

Peter Moore gets a new tattoo on his arm that says "I LUV EA!", and gamers around the world suddenly look to EA as the mecca of responsible and consumer-friendly game publishing for the next few decades, ushering in a "Golden Age" for their company.

Like the topic says, never going to happen.

Radiata Chronicles 2 will never even reach a concept stage. Probably for the best though.

A game where killing children is the main objective :)
Already got you covered with this one [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Columbine_Massacre_RPG!]. There are others, but that's always the first to come to mind because of the huge controversy over it in the news when it came out. That was a good time.

Parkour as a game mechanic that takes skill (does not involve holding down 1 button),in a deathmatch / open world environment at least after mirrors edge.

Developers will never realize that the argument "If I kill him, I'll be just like him." doesn't work if said pure, and non murdery protagonist had just slaughtered people by the thousands to get that far.

Indeed, Just Cause 2 is the best we've got (not that that's a bad thing, I love JC2). Hell, I'd even settle for a reputable developer taking the first Mercs, modernizing it a bit. Not just graphics but maybe play with the mechanics a bit, like tweaking the accuracy of the non-M4 weapons (seriously, the Type 56 and the two SMGs were practically useless if they weren't within a stone's throw) and stuff like that. Make the A.I. If they released a lovingly-crafted HD remake, I'd throw money at it.

The fact that the backwards compatibility was a colossal failure breaks my heart too. Now that my original Xbox broke I can't even play my old copy of the first one :c.

Lost Kingdoms 3, Unfortunately.

The 3D open world Pokemon game that everyone wants and would sell more WiiU's than anything else.
