1) I have long hair = I never wash
2) I play video games = Going to be virgin for the rest of my life
3) Don't like talking about porn = Must be gay
4) One of my parents was in a mental hospital = I must be mentally unstable and dumb
5) A bit overweight = Nerdy
6) Have a picture of Natalie Portman (the poster for black swan) = I'm a total perv
7) Bad sense in fashion = Must have no friends
8) Has few friends = Must be a creep
9) Calls people out on lies and exaggerations about oneself = lire and drama queen
10) Wants to act = Dumb and talentless

Christ I love the people I hang around with...

(Left: fact about me. Right: Lie people make up in relation.)

I got accused of trying to fit in where I shouldn't be, by a guy who I introduced to the group of friends. That didn't work out for him.

Aside from that, people just assume I lie all the time because most of my friends didn't grow up in poor areas, so they assume all my stories about getting mugged or getting into fights between 6 people are all lies because they've never seen a situation when it could happen.

People have accused me of being boring, mostly because I don't drink, or smoke, or party, or get angry when I'm being insulted. That's fine. I don't hold it against them, because I can plainly see why they'd say it. If I were them, seeing me from their perspective, I'd say I was boring too. :p
Haha, I can just see it in front of me.

"What the hell *your name* why are you always so boring and calm? Get angry sometimes!"

"I'm sorry."

"-.-"

OT: I ain't got a thing. Most negative things people say about you here is behind your back. We're not very open with things like that here in Sweden. I'm sure people have assumptions of me, I just don't know what they are.

1. I expect perfection from a man hence why I struggle to get one. I do not - I just don't want to go out with somebody because it is expected of me. There is a difference between being friendly and flirty!

2. I have no social life or friends. I have friends and a social life I just prefer to sit at home and chill after a forty hour week at work!

3. I'm gay because I don't get up an hour early before work to apply my makeup. I don't wish to impress anybody at work - I put my face on when I go out in the evening for a drink.
Like I said before, here in Sweden we're not as open, but still I must ask, how the heck do you people get into these conversations that only ends in insults?

Yeah, don't you love being labeled and generalised.

I love being called nostalgic blind because I believe games were better awhile ago. Can you believe I was told I'm blinded by rose-titnted glasses because I reckon the 70s was the best for music? I'm slightly over 20, I wasn't born then you fuck head! You know who you are

I'm also called elitist because I don't agree with some righteous zealots that all art is equal.

Why the hell am I a fanboy when I complain about something in a game? I reckon your the fanboy if you're going so defensive over nothing.

Heres one of my favourites. I'm a nerd for playing games (I don't even talk about them around people) but COD (or any realistic piece of shit) is the exception, even if you talk about it all the time.

What happened to you last night?

OT I guess the only thing I've heard is that when I show an interest in tech people assume I know EVERYTHING about it and it's just like "no, it doesn't work like that".
To cut to the chase: There was a flask of Tequila with my name on it. Seems like I gave some people something to laugh about, and I don't mind.

People acusing me of not having a life just because I think staying home and writing is more fun than going out and getting shitfaced. Or that I "have no friends.". I admit I don't have many, but the one I get together with for lunch every week is the type if friend I can talk about anything with, even really personal stuff. So fuck you, I don't need three more, this one is just fine.

Here in rural Australia, people are dicks.
If they don't like something they will insult it, I get random people I've never met coming up to me and telling me to cut my hair because "Men shouldn't have long hair", "you look like a girl" and my personal Favorite "It's gross for men to have long hair".
Another thing I got smack about was when I bought an anime for the store the shop clerk said something along the lines of "weirdo..."
Such lovely people.

I usually go out of my way to not talk to people or attract attention to myself so I haven't had many generalizations thrown at me. I have however felt the sting of playing video games and therefore will clearly be a virgin for life.
I also have no friends so clearly im either a creep or a terrible person. In reality I just don't like talking to people in real life.

Huh... I'm growing my hair right now, it's only just touching my shoulders right now, and so far I haven't gotten any real complaints. But who knows, maybe I push the wrong buttons with some people by having long hair. I'm also sporting a small beard, which I've actually been told to shave, but not in any rude way.

I've been thinking, are we in Sweden just Canadians in disguise?

I don't really know because if they are the type of person to say stuff like that I do my best to avoid them.
All I know I'm called is a nerd or gay for having glasses/not caring about how my hair looks.

I get a lot of people assuming that, just because I'm a Christian, I will blindly accept anything I'm told as true, I'm incapable of reasoning and making my own decisions, I don't understand any science, and that I hate most scientists, gays, Muslims, etc. It doesn't matter that I've just done physics and mathematics A levels. Lots of people just view me as an ignorant and intolerant idiot.

I think the best heckle about his long hair my ex got was the unintentional one.
We were walking home late at night from seeing a movie and we passed a stereotypical pisshead, staggering and drinking out of a bottle in a bag.
As we passed him, he tipped his hat and slurred `Night, ladies`.
My ex was like `Did he just say-?`
I just told him to keep walking.

Still, it was pretty funny.

Well going through a Catholic Public School, I was once asked if I actually planned on shooting everyone based on the fact that I identified as a Gamer at the time.

you know what? thats fucking retarded, the minute somone says somthing like that (especially in regards being gossiping, money eating harpies) then you really are an ass

because saying all women is x is pretty much saying 51% of all humans are a certain way...and in a way such generalisations are dehumanising, as your rejecting the Idea that women are like you in any way shape or form

makes my blood boil I swear
ALL WOMEN ARE WOMEN!! Try countering me now! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Mine's about 4-Inches past my shoulders and I get people I don't know telling me to cut it regularly.
Probably just the people in my area.

And yes... yes they are. (my guess at least)

Gender and sex are not the same thing, therefore some women identify as men.
Boom.
[sub][sub]Not exact but it's a decent enough argument.[/sub][/sub]

OT: Girlfriend says I don't emote very much. Don't see it myself.
Also apparently I'm quiet, but that's only with people I'm not friends with, I'm kind of loud among friends.

I laughed hard at that because the same thing happens to me and I reply in my deep voice with "why thank you sir".
Overall I think I've got hit on by more men thinking I'm a woman that I have by actual vagina having girls.
(I added that last part because there has also been some grey areas)
It was a sad day for my hetrosexualism when I realised this.

I quietly believe there is a god - specifically Christianity's take on it, therefore I am opposed to scientific progress, homosexuals, video games and new media, am a bible-bashing fundamentalist and probably have a boring, uneventful life.

I get that there will always be a vocal section of religious people who's ways of thinking are just backwards; same with people of political parties and agnostics, atheists, and human beings in general. And for that, I apologise on behalf of them, sincerely I do. But it feels like the whole world resents you for unobtrusively believing something they don't.

One of my former friends said that I only did weed once at a party ?to look cool?, when it was actually because I didn?t want to make a fool of myself and piss, like, 7 times in one night after getting drunk on alcohol. And yes, weed is less harmful than alcohol. I could?ve easily turned it around him by saying that the only reason he drinks alcohol is to fit in, but I don?t like talking to him anyway because he?s a prick.

Apparently I?m poor because I don?t wear designer clothes. Or maybe I just don?t care that much about fashion and wear whatever?s functional.

Also, my friends say that I have high standards for women because I don?t find plastic boring dolls like Kim Kardashian and Cheryl Cole attractive.

My mum thinks that, because I?m Atheist, I?ll lose my way in life and I can't be sure of my beliefs until I?m 18. Which is bullshit, and I probably know more about religion than even she does, especially since she comes from a sheltered background of conservative values.
