Optimism conquers. In opposite to the "Things that ruined your day" thread, I'm making this. Can you think of any specific event that once really made your day? Or is there anything in your life that makes you want to get out of bed in the morning? Did something or someone make today worthwhile?

For me, the last thing I can think about is yesterday: Going on a late night cinema and watching Inglourious Basterds made my day truly worthwhile.

I am recently waiting for the new Muse album which makes me wanna wake up and get out of bed...I'm so excited.

I suppose I should be excited about getting my PSP next week but it doesn't fill me up with as much joy...although I can now play FF VII crisis core.

Right now, I'm sitting in the office at work, alone, rereading Kitchen Confidential, clogs off, feet up, with a cup of coffee and Tom Waits absolutely blaring throughout the kitchen while a carbonara sauce simmers on the stovetop. This, this right here, has made my day a truly good one.

Reminding myself, again, of the fact that there are only 3 days left until I get my PS3. *jumps in anticipation*

Actually... I had a truly crap day. I volunteered at this festival because they promised me sound engineering experience and the most I got to do was carry a mic stand. BUT, when the day looked like it would never improve, I saw a man walking a lizard. On a leash. He was quite small. The lizard, not the man. Anyway, he let me pet him. And said 'he likes you' even though the lizard (whose name was Bosco) remained almost completely stationary so I dunno how you could decipher emotion from that...

Anyway, I felt that made my day worthwhile.

When my football team won 4-1 made today pretty good.
wish i could say that about my football team...they haven't won yet in the league. what is your team?

OT: waking up at midday is quite a nice way to start a weekend.

Any small thing that goes right.
I am a very pessimistic person so I always look on the down side of things and therefore I'm never disappointed by things that go wrong, I expect them to. When things go right I can get overexcited about it.
