Listening to the preview of Muse's new CD, and knowing there is still good music to be had in the world.

A wonderfully dark joke, something that makes me laugh, or getting time with a cute girl.
Any of those make a day great.

When a day just goes smoothly.

But my day was recently made when playing Wolfenstien, I discovered I was having fun. A welcome surprise after the tedium that was Overlord 2

my friend just sent me a text message saying "apparently its a bad idea to lock up the front brakes on a bike", and he is a hard core bike racer. Just made my day.

A funny video did a pretty good job today:

Also, I slept in to 9:30 today after waking up at 6 all week. I love weekends.

Actually... I had a truly crap day. I volunteered at this festival because they promised me sound engineering experience and the most I got to do was carry a mic stand. BUT, when the day looked like it would never improve, I saw a man walking a lizard. On a leash. He was quite small. The lizard, not the man. Anyway, he let me pet him. And said 'he likes you' even though the lizard (whose name was Bosco) remained almost completely stationary so I dunno how you could decipher emotion from that...

Anyway, I felt that made my day worthwhile.
I think your story made my day. Now, on a scale of 1 to 10, how creepy was this guy?

Nothing today really. I had a decent raid in WoW and a decent conversation with a friend, but nothing awesome happened.

Hmm I read that back and it does imply he could be creepy. But I insist he wasn't at all. He was just a normal bloke walking his lizard.

When I stepped on the scales and realised I'd lost 2lbs in 5 days. Get in there!
Woo, well done! I'm trying to lose weight, and know how tough it is. So go you!

As for me, the thought of my shiny new laptop that we're buying this afternoon is pretty good... it's gonna have a decent webcam and built in mic so I can start making videos on the Tube. Also it won't run at the speed of Windows 3.1, like my current one..... even though it's an XP >.<

Reading the thread about Batman:Arkham Asylum made me laugh for about five minutes straight. Well I had a rather good day on Thursday, with nothing major pissing me off at all and being in a rather good mood all day/night.

Plants vs. Zombies made my day... unfortunately it also kinda ruined it... since i spent all day playing that infernally addictive game... I'm supposed to be out looking for a new job lol.
