Anything in a sexism thread. No matter what I say it seems like those end up with me being in hot water. I tried to keep my stance strictly neutral, also stating that nothing I said were more than my personal guesses and agreeing with the people bitching at me and that still yielded insults. I wont go into more details because I don't want to have any more of that.

I've said somethings on this forum and others that I'm not proud of. One of my most famous post, DMC fans are the worst fans, had me miss judging people for what others did. Do believe that there are stupid fans? yes. Should I say that the whole fan base is a bunch of idiots who complain about Dante's New Look? No. I have heard some good reasons why they don't like the game and/or why they don't like the new Dante. It just made come off as a jerk, and I felt Pretentious say that.
Its ok friend, I came to my defense on that very forum, and I forgive you. ;_;7

OT:I have yet to make a post at all on the Escapist, so I hope when I do it doesn't generate regretful backlash, that would be the worst.
I used to be one side of the debate or the other, almost never the middle ground. Religion forums...
I used to add insults whenever I voiced my opinions, I now promise myself to never EVER do that again.
And I used to reply to YouTube comments.

I regret anything that gets me into a pointless argument with people. I try not to antagonize anyone so when I say something that unintentionally insults someone, I always feel bad about it. Most recently it was in a comic related news thread... should have just kept my mouth shut.

One of my posts here about WW2 got me in trouble. I felt super annoyed at myself. Basically to sum it up, I went all "RAR! AMERICA!" Granted, I had some facts...just not ALL of them. Quite a lot of egg on my face really.

I have 3 warnings.
1. I was warned for hate speech, don't want to go into detail, but yeah, I deserved that warning.

2. I insulted an OP when he was venting on the forums, I was pretty harsh, another warning earned.

I learned from both warnings and my behavior here has been great since (It was never bad, but I learned from the 2 warnings, adjusting my behavior when it comes to those things)

3. During a thread where the OP claimed homosexuals only wanted marriage because of the benefits that marriage brings.I put in small text about resisting the urge to use an "OP is a ******" image.[footnote]It's a meme, I wasn't really gonna use an image, it just seemed funny to use in that thread, I meant no offense to any homosexuals here.[/footnote]

I apologize to anyone who was possibly offended, but what gets me is that it was a joke and getting a warning left a bad taste in my mouth.
This will probably get me a warning, but what the hell? Related to this, I told a gay friend of mine that I had no problem with gays, or gay marriage at all, but what I do find incredibly annoying is the flamboyancy of their parades. Look, I get it. You're gay. Neat. But please, just because you are doesn't give you the right to prance around in speedos wearing feathers all over your body screaming about it. Just be you and move on. Needless to say, he got offended and the next day came in wearing feathers and started dancing in front of me. We are coworkers and that is the absolute only reason that I did not unload on him. Maybe that makes me intolerant, but getting uncomfortably close(which I have issues with anyway) and dancing with feathers while practically touching his ass on me? Oh no, I don't play that game. We had a very serious man to man talk after that. Now we get along and he knows not to push my buttons anymore.

Pretty much anything that results in any sort of heated debate/argument. Apparently I've really got to learn to keep my Internet mouth shut.

When I ran a guild in wow on our forums were a lot of links to various porn sites I used and thought would be funny to share.

As someone who recently became a christian I feel horribly ashamed about that.

I regret when I hinted at the POSSIBLILITY that PIRATING a pc game IS POSSIBLE but is not worth it. (because the game was bad, was trying to save people some bandwidth)

Got a warning for that and that was the point after which I turned into the slobbering schizo jackass that I now am.

Every single post I make, I usually wish I had just continued stalking the thread instead...
Especially this post, this post makes me feel like a terrible person.

Meh, I don't necessarily regret posting things because I later decide they're wrong, however I do sometimes regret posting things with a humourous/tongue-in-cheek intent, as a lot of people on this forum don't necessarily get my brand of dry, black, occasionally childish-for-the-sake-of-irony humour(One example of the latter I vaguely remember was a "your mum" joke that saw several forumers insisting that they were "too mature/intelligent/whatever" for that (which they may be, who the fuck cares? It's the internet.).

You are.

In fact you should probably consider suicide to make the feeling go away.

I get warnings left right and chelsea. Mostly for upsetting the precious feelings of other forumers(there are some very, very delicate souls on here). I've even been banned a couple of times. I too have, sorta, learned my lesson. In that I no longer call everyone who's being a **** a ****. Indeed, I've learned to stop posting on some topics altogether because of the level of offence some people are willing to take.

So, yeah, these things happen.

I don't regret anything... yet. But then I always try to not post in really serious topics. I never really post with much serious thought in mind and I don't often speak too much of my deeply personal life. If anything I regret the things I don't say!

In general? Yes, lots of stuff. My personality seems to be in a state of constant flux and the me from now rarely agrees with the me from a year ago.

On this account? Not really. I've tended to keep away from "contrevurshol" topics, because they inevitably become howling vortexes of angry bickering that's easy to get sucked into.

If I had a nickle for every thing I regret saying on not just this forum but any forum I've ever posted on, I'd be making money in a very weird way.

A little while ago I created a thread complaining about how the official name for Earth's moon is still just "The Moon" and not something more creative like Luna.

http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.394984-Why-is-Earths-moon-still-named-just-The-Moon-and-our-sun-still-named-The-Sun?page=5

To my surprise everyone on the thread seemed to completely disagree with me and systematically called me a retard for even bringing up the subject.

That made me feel pretty bad, and while my opinion still hasn't changed, I really regret creating the thread.
