Being able to rely in others. Nope, not a chance. :/
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Your telling me you cant rely on me? :p
Yes. In fact, that message was target directly at you. /sarcasm

No, it's just that it's easier to think that way for me. Don't rely on others, and they won't let you down.

But when have I ever let you down?

I'm always true to my word.

You haven't, but I haven't exactly put much trust in you either.

And I am talking more real world situations, as people online can't really be put in a position of true trust.

But you had enough trust in me to tell me your past didnt you?

Never take a person online for granted.

It's not exactly something I hide.

I suppose that is some trust, but it's a different kind than what I originally meant.

And the pen gnomes, at the cinema where I work pens seem to evaporate if you put them down for even a second, a case of someone else taking the pen? I think not, somewhere those gnomes are living it up, sleeping cuddled up in my socks and surrounded by my pens!
So THAT'S where all my pens (and probably the mechanical pencils too) go!
Darn gnomes, I should have known.

OT: Santa, Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny, like most. It didn't take me too long to realise they didn't exist, though.
Also, Christianity (sort of, Mum and I were never very Christian anyway), the idea that a god existing was probable, people being inherently good, that humankind matters to anything besides ourselves, and relying on others.

I also used to believe that atheists wouldn't be self-righteous and intolerant towards those who believe in something other than what they do like how those who consider themselves to be religious so often are due to their lack of faith but then I went on the internet.

I'm not saying all atheists are like this, and the vast majority aren't, but goddamn some of them are real bastards.

You know, the usual stuff: Santa, Toot Fairy, God, Truths, and the altruistic nature of people.

Trust is trust no matter how you try to categorize it.

Santa Claus, the Christian concept of God, the United States Justice System, Democracy...

You know, the usual. But I do still believe in optimism, and the instrinsic goodness of people. That's not going anywhere anytime soon.
