Well, I've kind of known all along, because of my love of comics, but I've been reminded the past few weeks because, with Iron Man 2 coming out, my friends have been asking me questions.

I wore a Wolverine shirt today.

Andrew: I know who that is...

Eric: Wolverine.

Andrew: Yeah... What's his name again?

Eric: I think it's Logan.

Me: Logan's the name he took, his birth name is James Howlette.

And I stopped myself before I started quoting the book and how he got that name.

I envy you so much. I have no one to talk about Pokemon with besides the people of the internet. I yearn to have a friend who is interested in it and will play it with me so I can finally evolve my Kadabra.

Assuming you are playing a DS Pokemon game, you can trade with people over Wi-Fi if you get their friend code. If you aren't, well, then I wish you luck finding someone. Alakazam is a beast in-game.

When I noticed I started going to the electronic center of any store and looked at the games and when I had a subscription to Nintendo Power. I sized up the games too and started looking up what was crap and what was worth my time. After that it got worse and worse. Now I'm on here, I laugh at cake and have a Steam account. Oh yes and when I started to sing "Still Alive"
It is a dream of mine to play Still Alive on Rockband with 3 of my friends. I already achieved my lesser dream of getting top score, at the time, with it in Audiosurf.
Then you and I share the same dream. I also dream of getting my hands on Portal 2 and some day put a video up on Youtube... then here of me singing "Still Alive" and playing guitar. Yea don't think ether of us can get more nerd then that. For god sake I have Portal cake for my 21st birthday.

Once while on Debate team somebody was talking total bullshit for their case.

I slammed my fist onto the table, pointed my finger at them and yelled "OBJECTION!"

I have the DS and its been getting pretty tired of me only using it for Soul Silver but I sadly don't have the friend code of, well, anyone.

When I met and shook hands with Leonard Nimoy himself at a Comic Convention near where I live in Canada.

.. My nerd/geek meter went over 9000!, at that point.

And yes, I have the pic to prove it~!

Can I have a double chocolate chip muffin?

Actual topic: When I saw that there was a college class that would require me to play WoW (AKA give me the perfect excuse to start playing), and then saw that it was full, I threw my arms into the air and pulled a "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Then I checked back every 15 minutes for days until I saw that someone had dropped it and yelled at my computer to go faster until I was safely signed up.

when me and my friends were messing about and we started talking in wow speak as we mocked out a play fight there was alot of drinks involved and I was waving a broom around only for my friend to whip the broom head off to which i cried ''Oh noes you have disenchanted my broom!!!!''

I have nothing more to add.......
Heh. I have taken up the habbit of hiding a paper ball in my hand and firing it at people whilst yelling MAGIC MISSHLE! I saw a friend do it once as a joke and I pretty much stole it, I like to think of it as me paying homage.

I think the time I got into a huge discussion over exactly what each thing in Valkyrie Profile is based on as far as actual Norse mythology goes. I can't think of many examples in my own life that make me sound worse than that.

I don't know if it counts as 'nerdy' or just plain weird, but at some point in time my brain decided that if someone says ANYTHING that has to do with a song, tv show, movie, game, etc. I HAVE to recite whatever lyric/line/whatever goes with what's been said, regardless of whether it makes sense in the actual conversation.
I do the same thing and it isn't as socially acceptable as I would have thought. Still do it thought, can't help myself. I think I have a problem.

..help me.

Just remembered what happened when a friend of mien asked me what super power I would choose. In my defense he should have known better, but because this is a topic I have devoted considerable thought to I ended up giving him a verbal essay on why I would choose Psychokinesis as it gives me Pyrokinesis, Cryokinesis, Telekinesis, Teleportation, and Telepathy and Energy Blasts. Totally topped his choice of invisibility but I fear I may have exposed my nerd.

That's not socially acceptable? No wonder I don't have that many friends...

PS, is my nerd factor lowered by the fact that I go to a school for nerds? Yu-Gi-Oh came back for my last year of High School with all the grade 12 students playing it, and after half a year I got bored of mocking the cards and started playing myself.

I'm still the comic book guy, whereis they're all anime freaks (no offense), but I feel justified in my nerdiness.

Isn't that dangerous and, y'know, lethal?

With ingredients such as these:

fish shaped crackers

fish shaped candies

fish shaped dirt

fish shaped solid waste

fish shaped ethyl benzene

pull and peel licorice

fish shaped volatile organic compounds

sediment shaped sediment

a 20-foot thick impermeable clay layer

Good luck to you.

I play Final Fantasy XI. My ex come best friend used to and he leveled Puppetmaster. Class which is abbreviated in game to PUP.
So anyway, he's keeps a load of dogs, 7 of them, and he was telling my in the afternoon that his newest dog hadn't been fixed yet so got his grandparents dog pregnant and it had a litter like a week ago. So he saying that he might be getting it.
I see him again later and he says "so, do you want to see my pup?" I got seriously confused. I did remember myself like the second I explained my confused-ness.
It was adorable by the way.

Ha! I can top that. I get asked which power I want and I have a long list of powers and different applications for both combat and every-day life with said powers, and different applications for different variations on the powers, and I'll go out of my way to show how some of the weakest sounding powers can be the most powerful and badass. Like, when you say shapeshifter, one usually thinks changing skin Mystique style (from the movies). Then there's Alyx Mercer. All he is is a shapeshifter. I'll go that far out there.

I also write comic books... This is kind of a field I specialize in...
