I often find myself repeating lines from the Scout and Heavy.

One time I was playing laser tag with some friends, and I yelled at the beginning "IT IS COWARD KILLING TIME!"

When I realized that I've been gaming roughly 64 hours a week for the past 16 or 17 years.

And I don't know if this would count as nerdy, but my sister and I can quote scenes from Monty Python. How well we do depends on the scene though.

Illusions are a fun addition to telepathy. And it's probably the biggest reason I shouldn't have it because, right off the bat, I'm thinking of ways to screw with people with it. But the biggest thrill of having telepathy, I'd think, is actually seeing the world from so many perspectives. Your own perspective gives you one view, one way of thinking, but seeing the world from fifty people alone... If there is any greater meaning to this life then seeing the world through multiple objective lenses is the perfect way to find it. Also, using the processing power of multiple brains, just small sketches and things that would be normal for them or wouldn't interupt--

Never mind, I can't be trusted. That thought starts a dictator, and I just got an idea for a story.

That's another way I'm a geek, I'll stop in mid sentence or stop a project to go off to the side and write or draw something. The people around me have kind of accepted it by now.
I have to say, that would be one of the most thrilling ways to use telepathy, I've always wanted to view the world from someone elses eyes, literally.

And I'd say that made you awesome, being able to go off and pour your creativity into an activity that gives it a physical presence. I wish I were artisitc enough to do that with even half of my ideas.
I thank you, good sir. It's quite fun. I love writing superhumans, and I love making realistic ways to use their powers. This has actually been a rather inspiring conversation.

When people would make comments about my appearance at school or when I would get odd looks from total strangers in public. Apparently people out in the country have never seen a slim white male who absolutely LOVES Warhammer 40k. Anyone out here who is into games as much as I am has never heard of Warhammer before. It's almost shameful to live around such people.

I'm so glad I made this thread now. After all of this I feel really happy after a pretty crappy day. Enjoy a structually intact muffin.

I can't remember a time when I wasn't a full fledged nerd! :)

I remember being 4 or 5 and having a mickey mouse shovel, however more often then not that shovel was either the Enterprise, or a blaster from Star Wars. So that ought to add to the story portion of the question.
I also used to make pretend with objects. I used to pretend shampoo bottles were the Starship Voyager.

Once while on Debate team somebody was talking total bullshit for their case.

I slammed my fist onto the table, pointed my finger at them and yelled "OBJECTION!"
Nicely done.

Ace Attorney is such a great game.

When my friend and I argued for six hours about Snape's allegiances after we read Harry Potter: HBP... I swear, she only said he was good because she had a crush on him.

I realise that I am a nerd on a day to day basis, actually. We were in a cluster for choir, with one person in the center, and six people around her. I grinned and told my friend in the center, "Hey, you're the nucleus of a carbon atom!" Also, my friends and I randomly burst out with science-y type things in mid-conversation and we all laugh.

I go ape-shit if somebody misplaces a comma, so I'm a nerdy Grammar Nazi...

How could you say "lol" in regular conversation? Its like repeating the word cry instead of actually crying. Everytime I hear someone say it I cringe violently.
I do that, I wish I didn't

EDIT: Say "lol" that is not cringe ;)

I became an utter nerd when I began to daydream about being an Imperial Captain on a Deathstar in math classes. Still daydream about that sort of stuff but now it is much more complicated. Now I run the entire fleet and am the napoleon of space XD

When one of my friends threw a piece of bread at another one of my friends (don't know why) and I immediately said out loud and without thinking "Dom used throw bread attack, Shannon takes 1 damage" and then drew a large number 1 on a piece of paper, cut it out, and held it above Shannon's head. Go nerdiness!!!

When I started quoting the prayers of the Black Templars to people. Made me sound completely insane to anyone who didn't play 40K
Also standing in the middle of town and shouting blood for the blood god and talking about the science in the stargate universe
I listen to some tracks a Youtube user named "ImperatorDominatus" made with quotes from the "Dawn of War" series and some epic background music. Actually, I'm CONSTANTLY listening to those same tracks (sometimes I say them, quietly, but people don't understand them because I live in Brazil xD).

I once invented an imaginary fantasy where the Eldar sided with the Space Marines to prevent the Necrons entering the Sol System. It was a glorious space battle and it was an hour well spent.

I've also spent countless hours researching Stargate science and 40k lore. I think this makes us brothers. Care to partake in some Exterminatus?
Researching 40k lore: one of my hobbies.

For some reason, that sounds naughty in my head (which probably illustrates the extent of my own nerdacity). My first realization came long ago, though, when I was chosen to be the designated DM of my DnD group (I was pretty damn awesome). That was the mid-1980s.

When I can understand subtle references some movies and TV shows make. For example, when the Juggernaut in X-Men 3 cried out "I'm the Juggernaut *****". When the insane flash animation "United States of Christian magic" made a reference to Scott Pilgrim... video right here:

can you spot it?

EDIT: inb4 "Monkey Island, actually"

I had always been a nerd, but I first truly realized the extent of my geekness while watching Iron Man 1.

The credits were over and I saw Samuel L. Jackson's face. "Huh, what's Jules Winnfield doing in MY Iron Man?" Then, "Mister Stark, Have you ever heard of the Avenger's Initiative?" I turn to my friend and promptly scream like a little girl.

My family's face -____-
