Fable: I love this game so damn much but can't say the same for the sequels.

TES III: Morrowind: I spent so much time in this game that i could of used on something usefull but hell with that this game is awesome!

Red Dead Redemption: This game is just amazing.

1) Morrowind. Had about 600 hours on a single player game, what can you say?

2) Left 4 Dead 2, just for the sheer amount I've played it and people I've met on there.

3) Neverwinter Nights, with all expansions. I played it to death, and created a god.

The top 3 games in my life? Ok!

Persona 3. This game really drew me in with its dark and unusual plot, believable characters and nice twist of the standard dungeon crawling RPG gameplay. The music was absolutely marvelous, and the final boss one of the most "deadly" (See what I did there?) of all time.

Terranigma. It says something for how great this game is when it blew my mind, not due to playing it as a child,(which I didn't) but by simply being that damn good. I don't need nostalgia to be nostalgic about this one. This is the greatest game of all time. No contest.

Final Fantasy IX. I take my hat off to this game, because it changed the way I saw gaming forever. Before playing FFIX, I had no idea that games could tell such enchanting stories, or spellbind you with such haunting melodies and rhythms. Thanks to this game, I will always remember my 12th birthday, and the magic I witnessed on that day.

Yeah, that's pretty much it.

Purely on nostalgia and fond memories of the time I played them and the fun I had -
- Phantasy Star (Master System)
- Command and Conquer (PC)
- Chronotrigger (SNES)

Now that I think about it, these are all games I played at difficult times in my life and all of them helped me take my mind off how bad my life was at the time. So I have all of them to thank for having a happier life.

number 1 : Wc3 mod called DotA. (everyone should know it by now right?)
I've used most hours on that darn game and i could claim its the main reason im playing computer games to this day.

number 2: Halo 1. I still like it the most of the Halos. Only single player game ive played through over and over and over again.

number 3: Kotor 1. first RPG ive played and the only RPG i've ever played through. I actually own Kotor 2 too but i've never played it, guess i just didnt miss anything MORE in this game.

3) Lineage 2, second MMO I ever played and one I found more interesting than WOW. I learnt a lot of life lessons in this game by following the stories. It's proof to me that even an NPC that's glued to the ground can be a great character.

Also there was the gigantic clan wars. Very few times we got the entire clan which was over 200 people, to pull down walls, raid castles and sleigh enourmous monsters, but I'll never forget those moments.

2) Super Smash Brothers Melee is an amazing game. Doesn't have a great story but all the options (so many options *drool*), different challenges, character choices and just the mechanics of this game make it one of the most replayable games ever. Fuck, I played this game for 7 years straight and I'm not even the type that can be stuffed training for tournaments.

Almost every Sunday I would invite some of my mates over and we would duke it out for hours, the fun never ended! We still play it every now and again even today.

1) Super Metroid was the first game that blew my mind, everything in this game is great. I first played it when I was 12 and even then I could tell the music and atmosphere was something really special. The intro to this game is still the best I've ever seen, sends fuckin' chills down my spine and is also very replayable.

To bad I know this game inside out otherwise I would still play it every year, I need to find a way to erase my own memory.

These are really the only games I've played through at least three times. Final Fantasy VIII and Bioshock get honorable mentions.

Baldur's Gate 2. It was the first game that really hooked me, and to this day I adore it, I just can't help it. I've bought it like 5 times due to missing/scartched discs etc.

Metroid Prime; as a game it pretty much single handedly brought me back from a personal exodus out of games. I've kept coming back to play it.

And I'd give my final nod to Batman: Arkham Asylum, holding a special place in my heart as the game I loved on the latest generation.

Wow... 3 is such a small number for the illogical mass of swarming factors and entities that make up the games I have played. I will almost surely and immediately regret choosing these 3 in favor of others but they'll be a sample I guess... Second thought I'm breaking the rules and doing a nostalgia list on the side so I don't feel schizophrenic for my reasoning.

Game quality and Narrative Impact
1. Dragon Age: Origins+Awakening, DLC, and Mods. Hundreds of hours over 4 play troughs. That's a roleplaying game. Damn.
2. Mass Effect Series. 2 is the game to have played but taking 1 with me entangled my emotions in it so much better.
3. Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. Great game, if it had been finished and had some extra money and love in it it might rival Mass Effect.
Nostalgia and effect on my life
1n. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. With assistance from Ocarina of Time as it's a direct sequel. The meaning, the world, everything.
2n. Final Fantasy IX. I have explained this one a billion times already.
3n. The Prince of Persia Sands of Time. The entire series is nominated for this spot, but Sands is the obvious representative for them.
(I liked WW the most and TT the least weirdly enough. The reboot is good if you make your own ending as well.)

1. Wind Waker - It's an extremely nostalgic game for me, it was my first Zelda game, and I usually come back to it twice a year.

2. Kingdom Hearts - Yeah, mostly nostalgia on this one. I still play it from time to time, but I think it's a good game, if a bit annoying at times.

3. KOTOR - While I liked the second one better, the first one was just amazing for me the first time I played it.
