Rush is my all time favorite band, so I consider them in a league of their own. My top five are bands I listen to regularly or are my favorites now. My favorites change all the time.

I don't think I can pinpoint a top 5... but here are 5 of my top artists/bands!

Keane:
He has such a wonderful voice! Chilling. The music itself is unique and ambient.

Muse:
Same as above, really. (But their music is VERY different to Keane!)

The Black Mages:
Nobuo Uematsu is a master and the rearrangements created by The Black Mages are incredible. Their ability to handle their instruments is beyond comparison.

Journey:
A large variety of pieces, some of them catchy, and others calming. Some of their music inspires the mind; the rest reassures the heart.

Queen:
I don't think my admiration of these guys requires an explanation...
