liked Top Gear
Until I realised what a pompous, self righteous ass Jeremy Clarkson is.
An add for his book stated "Shakespeare? I'd rather stick pencils in my eyes"
Please do.
And try appreciating a master of the language you speak, you jack ass.
Please Shakespeare is boring and acknowledging that he is a master is very different from actually having to sit through one of his plays. Your reaction at the failure to see that is the exact thing that Clarkson's comments are designed to generate.
As for Top Gear, well the regular reviews vary very widely in how good they are and aren't. The comparative reviews are generally much better than the single car reviews Subuaru vs Mitsubishi BMW vs Golf R32, unless they are doing something amazingly stupidly original like that Lexus in the last episode which PS since Lexus is a division of Toyota they HAVE already made a super car, the Supra.
The truly epic stuff comes from the massive specials and the overall averageness of this series was made up for several times over by the frankly spectacular Boliva special, Mind you saying that the last episode was easily the worst yet, the whole running out of money and trying to stretch the content was funny right up until it actually did feel like that was what they were doing and the guest star they had (who the f*ck was he anyway) finally showed that Star In The Reasonably Priced Car has had it's day, although now that the BBC has lost Jonathan Ross that section may be the only talk show of any kind the BBC has.
End of the day even the worst episodes of Top Gear are still better than the best of everything else that is on TV the show just needs a small tweak here and there to refresh it a bit.
