But really, it's been 12 years so there better be something beyond the great Duke humor. I just feel that should be a given after 12 years I would expect a bit more.

That said I will probably still play it, just be a bit disappointed if its only a really funny shooter

Having Duke play that with an Xbox controller and not on an arcade machine like he was in the previous version is like a kick in the nuts for someone who hoped it would still be a PC game.

Well I kind of picture Duke would be the kind of guy using an Xbox to play in his mansion... Not exactly an arcade machine. But hey anyway Looks good, graphics don't sway me much but in the case of DNF, you gotta be mad to focus on that! I loved the 3D game and heck, I even played that sidescrolling Duke Nukem game... I can't wait for this one.

I like how the game seems to continually poke fun at itself. If that, combined with polished gameplay, is what we're really in for, sign me up.

It's quite a strange situation when you see a greyscale, pew-pew-alien-gun, huge monster in concrete, abs bigger than head style FPS and think "yeah, this thing is just how it's supposed to be".
Also, Prodigy's "Invaders must die" is strangely starting to look like this generation's "Bad To The Bone"
Also also, I want a poll on how many of the Escapees have actually played "Duke Nukem 3D". Or maybe even know that it wasn't the first game about Duke, hehe.
