It kind of confuses me why devs release these videos instead of demos in general, This part of the game (if I had watched it, instead of skipping major parts to only see snippits) would be pre-spoilt. This of course in a long line of companies who can't shut up about a game until it launches making sure you know every twist, turn, secret, ability, leveling system, Hidden endgame unlocks,bonuses etc.
It's almost as bad as movie trailers that use the best of the best parts of the film to show it off, completely dampening any epicness it could have had.

When you see jittery shots of them trying to get the kids on the evac helo and it gets taken out midair , Then you watch the film and any shock or surprise the scene where they load the wounded on the evac chopper is completely removed because you are sitting there for five minutes going, that chopper gets blown up I know that, I know A lot

I'm actually excited for this, for those who are worried that they've made this all shooty, at roughly 16:00 they talk about how you can choose to play Stealthy or not.

Looks great, especially liked the new abilities to climb and move around on different levels. Stealth and take downs look great, dialogue and characters are a clear focus. What champions.

Comparing it to Arkham seems redundant, since the instinct is a finite resource (unlike arkhams unlimited detective vision) and he even says in the video that on harder modes you get less and less of it. I was really impressed with his explanation aswell. I honestly think it could be an interesting addition to the series. And to all of you hating on it, don't use it. Problem solved.
Also interested by the improvised weapon system. I like how the items weren't highlighted, flashing bright yellow or some similar shit, makes it more like a scavanger hunt, Playing with the environment to see what you can use.
Honestly, I really am excited for this game. I loved the previous hitman games, some of my favourite games of all time, this game cannot come out soon enough for me.

EDIT: Leaving aside "change is bad" arguments, and concerns about the game, the decision to fire 47 and Diana's voice actors is extremely puzzling to me. They've been with us from the beginning, and trying to change their voices is bizarre. Particularly Diana, who you never actually see, only hear. Why on earth change it, when the original voice actors are willing to do the voices?
Roughly 10 years ago we had three distinct game mechanics for stealth action:
1) Hiding in shadows (Thief, Deus Ex, etc.)
2) Hiding in plain sight (Hitman)
3) Hiding behind obstacles (Metal Gear Solid)
Why today there is only the latter? All of them were great at what they were doing.

The fact that almost every single mission had a pre-planned route that you in most cases had to take, leaving you very little freedom of choice (unless the mission permitted you gunning up the entire place)?
I'm happy to see the games finally evolve into something where the player has more freedom of choice, more options (in the face of a new and more intelligent AI, rather than a scripted one), and above all else what seems like a much stronger narrative (The Hitman narrative never was very strong except in Blood Money. It was decent, but not outstanding).
Of course i might just be dreaming at this point since it might end up being a short disappointing game, but gameplay-wise they are on the right track. If you don't think so, then you can just go back and play the old games again. I trust you haven't forgotten all the scripted levels so you can just breeze through them?

People, please. There is likely going to be a wide variety of levels which all require different stealth-approaches. It's obvious that in a level where Hitman is on the run and people are actually LOOKING for him (knowing that he is likely there), that it's going to be harder to hide in plain sight. Hitman has always been about blending in, and there is surely going to be plenty of levels where people will find it suspicious if he is found hiding behind a counter.
God you people are helpless. All the new things are improvements. The old combat system felt so tacked on and not part of the game, with the cover system it looks a lot more fluid. The 'Instinct' mode is a good replacement for the map which was unwieldy and did not help the games flow. THIS GAME LOOKS FUN!
