Yes, you heard me correctly. New transformers coming into theaters this year around the same time it usually does, July.

Also, i am kinda baffled when i saw this... Because i thought Michael "I can blow up whatever i want" Bay said he wasn't going to do a third one? Well i guess not. But this time He has Steven Spielberg helping him. Correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't think Spielberg helped him with the first two movies. But i trust Spielberg and i know he can do a better job than that piece of crap Revenge of the fallen.


Sorry if i'm late. I just found out and i haven't seen any topics about this.

Trailer speculation: Its basically a two minute teaser trailer. It doesn't tell you much info at all; all that we can tell from the trailer, is back in the 60's when the moon landing occurred they found some sort of crashed ship on the moon. They find some, what looks dead Decipticons or maybe autobots, scattered about. Then it pans in to a Golden Transformer. I can't tell if it's Decepticon or autobot, though. So we really have no idea whats going to happen in this movie, or even what its about.

I'm bad when it comes to speculation, so i'll let you guys have at it.

So i like both Transformer 1 and 2, i also like Megan Fox cause she sexy as hell!

I dont get all the hate for these movies, they are not suppose to win Oscars for best story, and should therefor be judged as what it is.. 'splosion time!
And explosions it does well methinks..

Okay.. I will like this movie IF... IF the story is 90% about them and not some damn humans.
I want to see Transformers and Decipticons fight like they have never fight before.
I want to see more of the classic Decipticons and Transformers! Give me this and nobody will get hurt!

i dont mind the tranformer movies. explosions. fighting explosions and robots. im not expecting a deep and meaningful movie from transformers, just something to stare at for 1.5 hours.

The moon landing was a cover-up for the mission to find this crashed ship, which is probably the Ark (the Autobot's ship) that crashed at some point. The Transformer seem inside, while no identity is known, is almost definitely an Autobot. You can tell from the blue eye optics.

Anywho...I'm glad Megan Fox is gone. I was getting bored of her acting. If only they could get rid of Shia whats-his-fucking-name AND tone down the stupid, goofball comedy. Oh, and get rid of the racist gangsta twin autobots

Jet in the first movie. cybertronian tank in the 2nd. in the 3rd he's changed to an armoured truck with weapons on it.

I am fairly sure there was something on here about Megan Fox being dropped. People tend to hate the movies because the focus is not on Transformers which is what old school Transformer songs want. Also the original song is no where to be found in either movies. I don't care if there is some copyright bullshit stick your hand into your deep pockets Michael Bay and get taht song put in the damn movie.

Anyway I might watch it for a laugh like the other movies.

I loved...LOVED the first one.

I despised the second one immensely.

Megan Fox gone? An immediate plus. I wish they'd get rid of Shia Ladouche. No offense to fans, but he is a TERRIBLE actor!

I dont mind Shia. I grew up watching him on that Disney channel show "Even Stevens". He is not that bad of an actor as people claim.

The comics aside he hasn't taken care of Starscream yet. I see little hope for Mr. Labeouf

I'm not going to see this movie unless it gets really good reviews. I saw the first two on the strength of my love for the Transformers franchise. The first two movies used up all that good will and so I'm not seeing the new one.

I'm sure if Bay didn't plan to make a third movie he changed his mind when he saw how much money the last one made.

Just because they are not "expected" to win Oscars for storywriting, acting, direction, catering, etc. Is no excuse to not put any effort into it or make it actually make sense.

In a movie this big with such a large budget there is no reason not to have a decent story, or to be well acted. Just because it's not a drama is no excuse for it to go nowhere over the course of two hours. To be honest I think it failed as an explosion movie as I was actually bored for long stretches of the film.
