Transformers RotF

So after reading a few reviews of this movie the consensus seems to be that it's all explosions, action,sucky story, and that it's too long (2 1/2 hours). Which seems about par for the course for a M. Bay flick.

That being said I'm pretty pumped for it cause I loved the first one and have actually enjoyed Bay's stuff (I like the Island). Plus 2 hours of giant bots fighting in glorious CGI... Heck yeah!
So who here is going to see it during the next week? And what are your expectations/thoughts.

Unfortunatly after reading reviews it sounded like this movie completly dropped plot and just went for Crazy Robo Battles..

But on the other hand I'm kinda okay with this, We'll see in 2 days.

I was going to see it. before my friend went to see it and said it was the best thing ever, and that she is going to go see it again. That instantly made me hate it.

Don't ask me why, but the fact my friend loves it so much and is going to see it again, makes me want to avoid it at all costs!

If the movie is at least 2/3rds Giant Robots kicking the crap out of each other this time, I will be happy.

I do not expect a brillaint story, I want Giant Robots Kicking the Crap out of eachother.

I'm still suprised that the 1st film completely failed in this regards, is this kind of thing really so hard to deliver?

I've seen it and 3/5 people I went to see it with fell asleep XD

It was soooooo looooooooong. Basically an extended version of the first one. I honestly didn't care what happened by the end of it

But Megan Fox and Shia LeBouf looked goooood and the CGI was amazing

Just look out for the extras who can't quite figure out where the Transformers are meant to be and are looking in the wrong place ;D

there, if that is about what you were expecting then I will say you will not be left down. If it is not, then you need to rethink your perception of the world because if you did not expect this in the movie then you have issues.



That said
Pretty good movie, great popcorn flick with explosions, T&A, and giant robot fights. What more do you need in a michael bay flick?

Is Megan Fox really that hot? Does that really matter that much?

I mean she's not a very talented actress, she's has no character chemistry with Shia LeButt and she looks more artificial than the damn robots.

If you just want to look at some T and A that badly just find yourself some porn or buy a Maxim magazine and get straight to the damn point.

Indeed, that's all I want, I don't care if the story sucks and the humor is cheesy, I just want to see massive robots destroy eachother (and a lot of real estate). Plus Megan Fox isn't bad to look at. Transformers really is a movie to fuel both my inner nerd (huge robots destroying eachother) and my inner macho (explosions and Megan Fox). Pretty damn good combination. Shitty script? /care. Strange pace? /care. I just want my robot destruction.

2 1/2 hours is NOT too long. All movies should be that long, I like getting my money's worth.

And yes Megan Fox really is that hot, but only if you're into really skinny women.

I dunno, I would be happier if they had given Bay the heave ho after the first one.
