That's a good point. Though, unless there's a skewing by one or two exceptionally high or low numbers (so, if someone trusted six billion people), the mean and the mode are pretty close. Statistically speaking, using the mode is a risk for being under-representative, since it cuts out the influence of those who differ from it.
