I'd like this. I like U2, but I'm not a huge GH/RB fan. I can only play on medium, could probably do Expert if I wanted to play it more than 2 hours a month. I'm a casual GH/RB fan. If it lets me do vocals, that's another story. I love doing vocals.

I would kill for a Led Zeppelin, Queen, Bon Jovi, or Blue Oyster Cult Rock Band or Guitar Hero.

"U2 Wants To Be In a Videogame?"

So?

Hell, I'd like to be my own videogame. It'd come on 4,000,000 discs and be titled "AWESOME!", but, I'm not getting that anytime soon, am I?

U2, you need to grow and realize that you can't get everything you want just because you're a band.

Trust me, U2, there is no way they could possibly caricature you. You're a caricature already.

I don't get all the U2 hate. Sure, he comes across as a bit too strong at times, but its because the things hes advocating against are pretty fucked up. Being too intense about Genocide and astronomical death tolls is pretty much the smallest criticisms you could level at another human being.
I'm only speaking for myself here, but the problem isn't Bono's intensity regarding his causes, it's his attitude, arrogance and hypocrisy about it. His causes and such are admirable and do need the attention, but I have more than a slight problem with someone getting on their high horse and acting like a saint/martyr, telling everyone else how they should be acting and what they should be doing for the world, and then turning around and paying thousands of dollars to have a pair of sunglasses flown to them. He looks like an arrogant prick, not Mother Theresa.

But that's just how I see it. ::shrug::

Hahaha! Yeah, they are and they did it to themselves.

But on topic, like others have said, U2 is just not varied enough to warrant a game made entirely of their own material. And they're certainly not iconic enough to warrant the type of treatment the Beatles got in TB:RB. The fact that they seem to think they are is laughable.

I will give them this though, U2 is allowed to want to be in a game. Just as Harmonix is allowed to completely ignore their whining. They could want the game all they want, it won't make it appear out of thin air or make anyone want to play it.

I really am the only one who likes them, aren't I?
Nope, I like them too. For one of the most popular bands in the world, there sure are a lot of people who depise them...
OT: I think it's worth a punt, but like I said, I'm a U2 fan.
