Everyone's a little bit racists sometimes. It might be bad but racism can still be VERY funny and sometimes bring 2 groups closer. Lot's of people are racist towards me, I'm racist towards them, but together we can have fun being racist towards Jews or Muslims. I mean those guys really hates Muslims. Why can't we just kill everyone instead? People kinda annoy me.

I do not agree with this at all, I think you're just a bit racist and try to make yourself feel better with this arguement.
No. I am extremely racist. I also do not care what other people think.
However it is true. If you have ever made extra sure your property is secure just because a group of black guys walk past then you are racist. If you have ever been cut off by an asian and thought "fucking asian drivers" then you are racist. If you even hear about a crime on the radio and instantly think it would have been a black dude then you are racist. If you live in California yet think all these mexicans should learn english then you are racist.
I am happily just more honest than everyone else who likes to think they are better than they really are.
As I said, if you deny it you are either lying or an idiot. Which are you?
1.) I have made sure my stuff was secure when some black people walked by, because their demeanor made them look like low lifes, but then again, I would have done the exact same thing if two white people had carried themselves like that, so that is not always racist.
2.) One time I have thought "fucking Asian drivers" but it was more of an irony that the stereotype was true than an actual feeling that Asians are more likely to be bad drivers, I don't think they are
3.) In some areas, There is a higher proportion of Black Criminals than white (There are more crimes by white people, but in some places there is a higher percentage of the population of black people committing crimes than the percentage of the population of white people) so as long as you either realize that it is just your area, it is a result of oppresion against black people, or you think about white criminals just as much, it is sometimes ok to think of a criminal as black, after all, if you think of ONLY white criminals, you are under representing and thus being racist to blacks, so if you have NEVER thought of a criminal as black, one could argue that that is racist, instead of the other way around.
4.) Again with Hispanics, a randomly chosen Hispanic person is less likely to know good English than a randomly chosen Caucasian, so if you think: "I wish that Mexican person would learn English" that is alright, thinking "I with that all of these damn Mexican's would learn English" that is racist.

So no, I do not think I am racist, even though I have thought some of those, or variations of those things you have listed

PS You just got LOGIC BOMBED MOTHER F---ER!!!

I think you're mistaking hateful racism for the only form of racism. Racism is to generalize the race at all, in any way. It's not bad at a low degree, it's natural. Anybody who denies being at least a tiny bit unhatefully racist is lying.
I can agree with that to an extent, everyone has practiced a bit of un-hateful racism at some point, but it doesn't mean that the person IS racist, as long as they realize it was a mistake later and it is an isolated incident.

There is a spectrum here, people aren't RACIST or NOT RACIST, dealing in absolutes is almost never correct.

EDIT: It's like saying you have never wet the bed, it is a lie, but it's different from saying "I wet the bed frequently and don't think it is a problem at all"

I think you're a terribly ignorant person if you claim not to be rascist at all. Everyone is a little rascist, it's rational to be rascist. Example, here in the Netherlands the crime rate for foreigners is about twice/thrice as high as the crime rate of the original Dutchmen. Foreign youth is notorious for having a bad attitude and obnoxious behaviour, is it rascist to be more on your gaurd if you're passing a group of foreigners late at night? Yes, but it's reasonable because experience and statistics show you that you should be more on your guard. I disagree with openly displaying rascism but to deny it is stupid and pretentious.

First of all: As a genetics enthusiast I knew about this guys research before all of this bad press, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory was not denying he was doing it before the bad publicity but now they claim it never happened...

The reaction to James Watson's statements really piss me off. Not because I'm trying to be racist but because I hate it when politics fucks around with science. I'm the kind of person who supports the data regardless of what it says. If the data says "Saris Kai, throw these kitten into the river" then a whole bunch of kittens are going to die regardless of how I feel about it.

For those of you who don't take an intrest in genetics there is enough evidence already supporting that at least some parts of intelligence are genetic as researches have found the genes responsible for determining the neural-connectivity of an individual, those with higher neural-connectivity are universally smarter.

I can understand that people want to pretend everyone is equal but seriously, if this guy's research is saying they aren't (and he isn't the first, just a very high profile example) then maybe, I don't know, science could be right? I have not seen his data so I'm not saying hes right but people aren't giving his data the time of day because the controversy. Its just to unfashionable to risk actually looking at the data because in theory it could be right and whoever verifies it will get the same backlash.

I just laugh at racism and racist jokes because I don't take it seriously. When I go out fishing with my uncle I hear him using certain words to describe black people and mexicans and I just laugh. I don't try to stop him because I don't try to stop something that makes me laugh.

I am white, and I admit it, every now and then a racist thought will enter my head in a moment of anger or frustration. It's natural, really, and I expect the same from everyone else around me to a certain degree. Regardless of that I do not say anything off color (no pun intended) out of pure hate. I just hold it in and get out of the situation as quick as possible. But what I find to be wrong is saying it's alright for them to be racist and not me, simply on the grounds that "I've got nothing to complain about" or something like that.
Pretty much what he said.

A person who is an asshole, is an asshole regardless of skin colour, religion, birthplace etc. Race doesn't factor in to it.

However if you you pull them up on it I find that some people will play the race card on you. I'm not racist, and I have friends of more nationalities and colours than I can even think to count thanks to a very multicultural upbringing and education. If someone is an asshole then I'm going to call them on it, and yes, I have been accused of being racist when I do.

Anyone who hates another person because of their skin color does not deserve the air they breath. They simply steal the oxygen away from intelligent people.

Most everyone here has probably had a thought that might be considered racist. Personally, I agree with the idea that immigrants from Mexico should learn to speak English before they come to our country. Is it racist? Maybe a little. But I'm okay with that.

If you're not running around committing hate crimes and passing over qualified individuals for promotions based on race, you're probably in the clear.

Of course, the kind of racism that leads to genocide, mass disenfranchisement, stuff like that... That's just wrong, and we all know it.

I don't believe in the concept of race.

However, everyone is a little racist at heart. If you say you're not you're a fucking liar.
Well, I believe the technical term is variety, as their isn't enough genetic different between 2 ethnic groups to warrant the term sub-species.

Political correctedness pisses me right off. Remember when someone got really offended that L4D2 took place in New Orleans, and that some of the zombies were black? So it's okay to shoot white zombies, but shoot dead minorities and suddenly you're a racist?
Totally agree. Racial equality means you have the equal opportunity to become zombies....

PC...(ness? itude?) is retarded with a capital wheelchair. Blacks and other minorities need to stop being so damn uppity about every little thing.

Yes, legitimate racism does suck, like, the KKK and stuff, but like, people getting angry about black zombies in L4D2, or, that black guy suing that restaurant because they could recognize the color of his skin:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1224910/Pub-branded-black-couple-ones-dining.html

Like, wtf, you clearly are a black couple, and lazy black couple at that who is looking for easy payouts from the guilt-ridden white populace.

The most powerful man in the world is black, so anyone who complains about the man keeping them down or oppression can fuck right off back to the 20th century.

Or don't give a damn. I'm not implying that's me.

OT: I'm asian. Its not that bad in New Zealand.
Of course everyone is a tiny bit racist in their mind.

Judge a man by his character, not by his colour or creed. That's the way I look at it.

I don't want to start a flame war here but, if people here are so opposed to judging people by where they come from or what they do, then why is there always so much hate towards members of a religion whenever a debate strikes up?

There doesn't need to e racist boundaries, then racism wouldn't exist. We wouldn't care if a person was a different colour because we'd think of them as just human not a different kind of human.

This thread is bs.

Too many of you are liberal pussies imo.

Racism is there because people of different races prefer to be around their own kin. It will always be there.

Racialism, which is the acknowledgement that there are differences between races, but not necessarily a hierarchy, is good.
