Excellent episode.

I bet you $1.64 that "Sins of the Unforgotten" is a tally of all the times Rob and Mike have cheated. Curious. What could it be for though?
Plot device so that they enter a situation where they cannot cheat to win.
Possibly, but something like that seems kind of difficult in a game like DnD/UR in which one person can forcibly alter something and not follow the rules just by writing something down or by moving something. Since the game is tangibly controlled, it would have to be some pretty damn powerful plot device to disable cheating.

Yeh that's two strikes, wander how many more they can take.
I vote 3 then he's out.
First he got a pain in his chest, now he's unconscious...
I reckon it's for cheating.
The first strike was in Ep 6 when he blew the dice to a 20 and he felt a pain in his chest.

The Sins of the Unfrogtten must have somthing to do with Rob cheating. The first one was from when he used "border line rule breaking" tactics to beat the first Oger, now this one from moving Roamin.
Wow, I didn't even think about that. Thanks for pointing it out.

You sir, have won an internet.

Hurray for Roamin!

Shame the episodes keep getting shorter lately, but I can understand how it's hard to keep it at 10 minutes per episode when you're making them weekly now.

I think I may need to check some older episodes now...

Hey, you're right! The sins of the unforgotten make an appearance in Episode 6, when Rob blows on the dice to make it go to a 20. He also feels a sharp pain then too!!
Actually, it might also be from him saying, "You never need to worry when Sir Schmoopy of Awesometon is around." Which might be classified as pride, which is (to some) a sin.

and now Schmoopy died for moving Romin. i can't beleave people don't get the ending. a tally mark is made on a death toll when a charactor dies there was one when petey died and now schmoopy is dead, probably for moving Romin
Petey's not dead yet,he's just hiding somewhere. It's a strike for cheating.
Anyway,great episode.

I went back and watched the Ogre episode: The Sins of the Unforgotten tally debuted at the very end of it, immediately after Schmoopy's chest pain following his blowing the die to get a (un)natural 20. We can safely assume that the Sins tally is Rob's cheats.

Oh, and a great episode as usual.

Agreed. I was about to make a post saying the exact same thing. <3

Gotta keep your interest somehow.

As for the tally, it's safe to say that it's a tally of 'sins,' as it clearly states. Seven would be a natural assumption for the final tally, as there are seven deadly sins, but it appears that there is only room enough for five bloody strokes beneath the words.

Ze Plot!! She Thickens!!!!

I have a feeling that the Sins of the Unforgotten has something to do with Rob cheating at the game. I mean, he's cheated at the game before; I'm sure that whole thing with the dying and switching bodies thing was cheating something.

EDIT: Hey! No fair! I hit Post first!!
Yeah but hasn't he cheated more than just those two times?
On the contrary, Schmoopy has bent the rules several times, but this is only the second time he's outright broken them. He breaks them by doing something to the game board outside of the game. All the other times, he's found loopholes inside the game, like those crystals. In fact, most of the rule bending has COME from those crystals: the crystal that allows you to change bodies, the crystal that allows you to switch classes, etc.

Sins of the Unforgotten:
1. (Ep6): Rob blows on the die to make it land on a 20.
2. (Ep26): Rob physically moves Romin to his location to help him solve a puzzle (and that whole wind axe thing was pure coincidence).
3. (Ep?): ???
4. (Ep?): ???
5. (Ep?): ???
[Note: there's enough room/spacing for five, but given the increasing severity of the immediate consequence, Schmoopy may well die on the next one...]

Wow weird ending, I was wondering what that blood stroke meant when the new intro came out. could it mean Schmoopy's death counter?

From what I've seen, the Sins were when Rob directly changed the game in some way.

The first one was the final dice roll of the battle against the lone ogre... he blew-rolled the dice to make it a 20.
It was kind of subtle but he did break the spirit of the tabletop RPG genre...

The second was not as subtle... again he broke the spirit of the genre to turn the events of the game to his and Mike's (but mostly his) favor...

Since there are blood tic marks under the SotU graphic seems to indicate that a hugely major event will happen after a set number of sins.
