I personally think we should totally abandon all concept of gendered identity. There's nothing to be proud about for being a 'manly man' or a 'feminine woman', in my eyes. If I'm male and I want to wear a skirt, why should I feel embarrassed? If a little girl plays about with solider toys and cuts her hair short, why do people have to jokingly refer to her a a 'future butch lesbian'?
I want to be able to cry without being mocked just as much as some of my female friends want to be able to get into auto-engineering without being considered some sort of hidden man.

Also, I think that people should be a lot more open to having lots of sexual relationships at once. If you want to have a relationship with one person, that is fine, but if you or your partner cheats then it's a sign that perhaps you should just go out and have lots of sex with lots of people, but in a responsible manner. I don't see why anyone should feel ashamed about enjoying lots of sex.

The Dark Knight was a lacklustre film in every scene that didn't revolve around The Joker, at least in my opinion.
Every single person I know who has openly admitted they like My Little Pony has, at some point, come under ridicule and had their sexuality thrown into question. I think one of the best parts about that show is that it made it more acceptable for grown men to actually watch what they want, without feeling ashamed. I know I'm certainly not as brave about what I like to watch as some Brony-types are.
Would you really suggest gender roles have no affect on us now we've reached twenty-twelve? I, personally, feel the sting of these gender roles almost every week for wanting to do simple things like hug a friend, talk about my feelings, or consider a career in nursing.

Just noticed this one and hoped you wouldn't mind expanding on this point?WoahDan said:-I dislike Bronies "oh look at me I'm defying traditional gender roles I must be so whimsically eccentric". Dude its twenty-freaking-twelve no-one worth listening to cares about that any more, all you are doing is liking a kids TV show, which is fine, but that's ALL that you are doing.
