[Time Travelling Toaster]

Karen began trying to pick faces out the crowd, when she saw the checkpoints she hesitated slightly, before remembering the fake ID she'd been given by one of the Hive members in the house. Fingering it in her pocket she walked up to one of the less crowded GIC members and smiled brightly as she handed him the ID, the soldier looked at the card bored and handed it back with a nod before letting her through.

Karen walked through calmly feeling her heart beating rapidly as the adrenaline pulsed through her veins, she felt alive hiding in plain sight of her enemies.

"Wait, you just want to know whats in the boxes?" James asked "I'm not sure what you intel says, but I'm not HIVE if thats what your wondering. I'm with the Brood, I'm not gonna bomb somplace. Here let me show you"

James takes down two of the containers and opens them one has earbud radios, the other contains medical supplies

"We use the radios to communicate with each other, the other container on top has some more radios. The medical supplies is going to our various clinics we have set up around the city. A lot of infected get injured either when they use they're powers or when GIC finds them. They rest of the containers have medical supplies also."

Sydney peered deep into all of the boxes of supplies. Sifting through the objects trying to find something lethal

"Well, it's certainly nothing lethal to the public, now lets say you give a shiner and a busted rib, smash my radio, and run before they catch you." Sirens began to wail in the distance approaching closer by the second. "Time is of the essence here if we both want to go away looking like we tried our best. Get to the smashing already."

"Okay this might hurt a little, ohh before I do this, Thanks Sydney"

James punches Sydney in the eye and pushes him to the ground. He grabs his earbud radio and smaches it on the ground. James then grabs a rock and hit Sydney on the chest with it.

He quickly loads his supplie back on the cart, straps it down and peddles away

"Thanks again Sydney" he yells over his shoulder.

James Saw Emily out of the corner of his eye

"Hey Emily" he said, "How come your not at the relay point?"

He chuckle at her threat and walk up with her. "you know...were on the same side ...well...to a extent were both.." He looks around making sure no one else hears it "infected" Once she gets to the other group he just leans on the wall and watch. Wondering what the two guys were talking about before he show up.

"I had gotten some unwanted attention from some GIC soldiers and from some weird infected guy. Anyways, lets get to the meeting point before we come across anymore trouble."

Delta peddled his bike forward while Emily followed behind.

Sydney woke up about an hour later. Eric Davidson towered over him peering down on his beaten body.

"You fucking traitor, he raised his boot above Sydney's skull. You left your radio broadcasting for that little performance in the tunnel."

"Wait wait wait!" Sydney shouted. Davidson paused and set his foot back down. Sydney sighed a deep breath of relief. "You know those boxes are going to their clinics right, where all their infected need to stop by to rest up some time"

"They're infected Sydney, don't give me this speech about how they deserve a place of rest that isn't a shallow grave!" Davidson raised his boot heel one more time over Sydney's face.

"That's why I put my G.P.S. tracker in the clinical box when I looked around in it. They aren't going to snoop around in those boxes after the guy that lets them get away and beat him up pretending he'll be in a vice-grip on his side." Davidson stopped lowered his foot as a wide smile crossed his face. He propped Sydney up onto his feet, and the two exited the tunnel with smiles across their faces.

Jame continued to peddle towards the relay point eventually, he end Emily reached it

"Bout time" he muttered He looked up at the building, while it looked unassuming, it was infact the largest clinic in New York.

"Lets get these supplies upstairs" he said

Outcast stop following them and was on another rooftop. Wondering what he will do with his life as he lay back and look up in the sky. "Ah...can't wait for someone to hire me...or at least a fight starts up where I can do something. "

Brandon arrived at the old building just as the others arrived. "Well hi everybody. Mr.Chevy's up stairs. Probably talking to some of the newer Infected." He said lifting a crate and carrying it in.

James, Brandon and Emily got most of the boxes to the top floor and he was now carrying the last box up. He passed by many infected, almost all of whom had some sort of injury. Most were gunshot wounds. He had just placed the last box on the ground when he heard a helicopter buzz by, then another one. curious he looked out the window and saw several GIC APCs surrounding the front of the clinic, at least two dozen GIC troops were on the ground and a helicopter has hovering overhead. Meanwhile more APCs were arriving, no doubt carring more troops.

"Ohhh shit" he thought

He yelled into his radio "This is Delta, the clinic has been compromised, I repeat the clinic has been compromised. All injured use the escape hatch to the tunnels down in the basment. Everyone else we need to hold them off the buy time"

James then ran to the roof.

"Damn it." Brandon said as he led the injured infected towards the escape tunnel, making sure his charge pack was on tight.

Erik slips in through the back entrance of The Hive's New York City outpost after having to take the long way to avoid the GIC roadblocks, "God damn it, why does this crap always happen when I'm in town?" he mutters to himself as he ascends the stairs to the business levels of the base, no doubt to yelled by some superior about the Chicago screw up then sent out on another scouting mission.

Sydney stood there in the only helicopter positioned hovering by roof of the building while straightening out his suit and adjusting his arm sling just waiting. Soon roof access door opened as several infected poured out onto the rooftops. Sydney pulled out the megaphone and started speaking to the audience.

"Delta are you there?" The crowd looked around, no one stood up from the crowd. Sydney looked disappointed but threw out a purple envelope to the crowd. They all scrounged around to pick it up and open it. "If any of you see him make sure you give this to him"

Inside was a Hallmark thank you card written out to Delta saying
"For helping me find the clinic- Your friend, Sydney Oakley Shaw"
P.S. There's no tracking chips in this one.

Sydney reached over to the cockpit telling the pilot to take them out of here, and back to the G.I.C. headquarters.

Jame bent down and picked up the card. He quickly read it and crushed it in his hands.

"Sydney, I trusted you" He then yelled out loud "Your a dead man Sydney!!!"

James touched his hands to the small brick wall on the roof, he manipulated his hands and fornmed the bricks into a massive spike. With several more motions he launched the spike straight at the helicoptor.

His aim was off, insted of hitting the cockpot, it hit the tail of the helicoptor, soon it began to spin towards the ground.

The bartender looked over the bar at Kyle as more of the regular crowd drifted in. He gave a silent gesture that pretty much told Kyle to be ready to enforce the rules if he had too.

"Sarge" Said an already wasted private, "Turn on the news. The G.I.C. have been chasing some mutant bastards, and they have reported that they found a huge hold out of the freaks." The Private swung his arm around Kyle's shoulder, "That's fuckin grand news don't cha think?"

Kyle starred at his empty beer cup, "Can you fill me up?" he said to Sarge while shrugging the privates arm off his shoulders. After the bar tender flicked on the news, he passed Kyle another black'n'tan and sat back to watch the scene un fold.


News Caster-
It seems that G.I.C. APCs and helicopters have surrounded what appears to be a terrorist hide out. If you zoom the camera in you can actually see a few people running out on the roof. . .

One of them just attacked the helicopter! The muties just attacked the G.I.C. helicopter. I think this means that they found the terrorists main stronghold!

[NYC]dave was walking to the HIVE out post when he heard two people talking about the terrorists bass that was found out walking a little more he saw a bar and walk in and ask for a beer then sat on a stool and stared watching the tv

Sydney looked over as Delta throw spikes across into the helicopter, it began spinning out of control as the pilot was now killed and the tail had broken. Sydney grabbed the megaphone while keeping balance. He threw the megaphone smashing a window 3 floors down. He made a desperate jump to get into the smashed window landing just barely within the frame. As the helicopter fell the blade slashed his achilles tendon. He carried himself up fully onto the floor and fumbled around for his megaphone. Hoping he was still in earshot.

"You know..." Sydney took a wincing breath from the pain of the blade. "...leading us here will probably dash your chances for second in command, and that choppers gonna land right in the street probably blocking off those who tried to escape from the ground floor. As for me though who knows what kind of promotion I'll be getting."

Sydney than got up on his feet and slowly winced and bled as he walked down the staircase to get out of this place.

4 pages already, wow. It was kind of my intention just to put a surveillance van outside the clinic and collect infected identity's, but this works too.
