Someone else probably picked up on this, but it's becoming a trend now that while Games are slowly becoming itneractive movies it's become neceassary for cut scenes to be more competetantly portrayed (admittedly some still fail horribly at it but mostly they're the games no one buys or gives a damn about).ssgt splatter said:Ok, fine. If you guys have to make funny videos about those games, at least make fun of current ones.Baby Tea said:Great Episode, but I really loved the first joke:
"Hey Kettle! You're black!"
"So are you!"
EDIT:
As someone else mentioned: Unskippable isn't a review show or segment. It's a just a mockery of bad cutscenes. And, oh shock of shocks, many JRPGs have terrible cutscenes, hence the many JRPGs used. And how cares about the graphics? You're watching it. You aren't playing it (Even though I would say graphics don't make a game).ssgt splatter said:Ok I couldn't watch the whole thing, it was too corny and the animation was was last, last gen. Also it was yet another JRPG. If you guys have to review those kinds of games at least review current ones not ones that were on the Gamecube or PS1
And it was obviously in engine, not a pre-rendered cutscene.
So making fun of older games from the days when "cinematic gaming" was still a new concept is much easier and heralds much finer results.
Not saying I disagree with your previous statement that they should try and focus on recent games, but if they wanna do older games, then that's perfectly fine to, They're the oens who do it for a LIVING, When you start getting paid to mock video games, then maybe your opinion (as well as mine) might mean squat (although in fairness just because you get paid to do it, doesn't mean you're an authority on it.)
Aaaaaanyway!
Great video this week, even if I had no idea what game it was...
Was a bit weird that she would insist on refering to THEIR father are his and his alone...
I sense a "Your sister is really your mother... somehow." plot twist...
Or at the very least "You're adopted."
