Very funny episode guys, the hooded jedi was hilarious. So, any chance of another Let's Play evntually, or have you given up on that?

now onto the game itself, hooded clocked man is Mr. Sheffield so skip over the obvious 'MISS FINE!' joke.
he has literally no reason to be sneaking into the city. If you actually play through the plot of both games nothing ever indicated he couldn't have just shown up balls out because, oh yeah.
He's from 1000's of years in the past, no one knows who the hell he is!
Oh yeah and the 'romance' in the game can only be saved by it turning out to be an evil plot on behalf of the princess. Because Leonard meets her for all of 5 minutes, is insanely in love with her and spends the entire game muttering her name under his breath.
And that's not an overstatement or Hyperbole. He really has only known her for about 5 minutes and he really does spend almost every waking moment going 'cisna...'
Oh and then it turns out that Cisna is a reincarnation of some queen who was fighting the Knights all those eons ago, and nearly all of the main cast were babys from that time who were used as fuel/controllers for the knights.
So the person he was born to fight, who sealed his power, and was in a war with his nation... he meets for all of 5 minutes, falls in love with her and is like "Screw everything"

The worst thing about WKC isn't that it's story failed so epically, it's that in the very game itself they show they CAN write competently. Like with Caeser who's by far the best character in the game and come WKC2 Scardyne, saying anymore would spoil that game.
And of course the biggest hint? they wrote LAYTON.
On the plus side the game is fun and it has a very lively world. it's just bad that the story doesn't support it
