I actually have an almost crippling fear of dressing rooms. I don't even know why, but going to a clothing store and passing by the dressing rooms always makes me feel uneasy. And actual having to go in there almost makes me have a panic attack. I don't know WHAT it is, but I hate 'em.

Eh, it's not a phobia, but...I get the shivers when confronted by breaking bones or snapping tendons. I'm absolutely fine and even entertained with blood 'n guts 'n all that...but the crack of a femur? hamstring-severing? Geeeeewwaaarrggghhh....*shudders* it was pretty bad during the Watchmen movie...

I have some pretty bad anxiety towards putting away shopping carts. I always get upset thinking about "What if it's jammed! I'll have no where to put my cart! I'll never get my quarter back!"

That's my worst fear besides spiders, though.
I was traumatized by shopping carts too...
so... much... shopping carts...
They took little jimmy into their market man! Me and him were gonna go fishing after the war!

All I could was sit and watch.

I believe it's called Xenophobe I think. It's supposed to mean fear of the unknown or the unseen.

I fear my own thoughts. Is there a term for that? Oh, right.......suicidal....or psycopathic...

I don't like crossing the street. Like at all. But then I tell myself to stop being a baby and cross and I get over it until I have to cross again.

That made me laugh. Not at you, of course, because that would scare the crap out of me too, but it just sounds funny. xD

Hrm...weird phobias I have...Bloody Mary, but I dunno how "unusual" that is.
I can't stand changing a light bulb because I have this fear that when I screw the new one in, when it turns on, the light bulb will explode, taking my hand with it. No idea where that fear even came from, but I've got it.

And I dunno if it's really a phobia I have, but imagining the sensation or feeling of my heart literally being ripped out of my chest makes me so freaking queasy. x_x

There's a guy here who, I've been told, has that same phobia. I've always wanted to show him a picture or video and watch him freak out, but I've never done it.

pencil wood on paper
OMG, I thought I was the only one! When I was in school I absolutely hated it when pencil lead was too short and the wood would scratch across the paper. Even now, my body cringes up, my lips tighten against my teeth, and it irritates me just thinking about it. I was so happy in high school when we could use ink pens - but occasionally, there was always that teacher that required pencil. As long as they were super-sharp, I was ok.

Which brings me back to p3t3r and his girl that's scared of feet. Timmy from Fairly Odd Parents is deathly afraid of both feet and clowns - so one day he goes to school and it's DRESS UP LIKE A BAREFOOT CLOWN DAY at school!

Don't worry, they have this metal grid reflecting it into the inside.

On topic: I'm afraid of climbing. I'm not generally afraid of heights, only if there is an actual danger of falling down, if I stumble or am pushed for example.

Thank god. My toaster is trying to kill me however.

I cannot eat lunch from my school cafeteria. I have a fear that the lunch lady will yell at me for no reason as I'm getting my lunch. So I just bring my own. (I feel like I used "lunch" too frequently in that sentence.)

I hate fog, it just freaks me out and makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I think it's just not being able to see in front of me. And I was scarred by fog-based horro movies as a child so . . .

I'm terrified of being late, I think it's called Allegrophobia, so I always double or triple check my alarm clock before I go to bed, and I get really anxious whenever a bus I'm waiting on is running late, even though I usually choose earlier buses than I have to in the first place.

The sensation of falling. Heights doesn't bother me, I very rarely suffer from vertigo, but the sensation of uncontrolled downward acceleration makes me instantly queasy.

I can do a near-perfect swan-dive dive from a 3m springboard, but any higher than that, and you couldn't push me off the dive platform with a bulldozer; it's actually bad enough that I had reactions in some of the more realistic MMO's, like Age of Conan and Tabula Rasa, when my character was leaping from heights.

AND THAT WAS A COMPUTER GENERATED FICTION, GODDAMMIT!
