I actually did noticed the darkness on the Xbox version, but that can be remedied if it's a problem. The only other thing I might say is animation on the PC is a smidge smoother during cutscenes, possibly.
Really? Because in my PC demo the cutscenes had a nasty habit of stuttering, I wrote it off as another Bioware demo (they can be a bit...unstable compared to the final product) but now I'm worried...

Sorry for the double post, but I want to make sure anthony sees this.

What's your set up for your Krogan? I'm enjoying my human soldier, but I feel a little squishy so I'm thinking maybe I can set up some kind of sniper character that can take a few shots before folding.
Apology not accepted! ;-)

Anyway, if you want a sturdy sniping character, then look no further then the Turians! They're tougher than humans, if a bit less mobile, so they're great for setting up a firing position. My Turian sentinel for one has upgraded his 'Turian veteran' skill so he does 20% more damage with headshots, and with overload you can scope, overload a Centurion or Nemesis shields and then headshot them dead in moments. (warp isn't too shabby either, especially if someone jumps you, the tech armour is more for someone in the thick of fighting though)
I don't have the Turian soldier, so I haven't been able to try him, but one of his skills is 'marksman'...so I'm going to guess he's good at sniping too... :p

Just got so peeved by the multiplayer.

If you quit the game you lose all experience points you've accumulated in that game so far, so it's annoying, I HAD to leave because I had a lecture and I was penalised for it :(

Also sometimes the objectives are stupid, like kill an Atlas in 30 seconds with 2 people.
Cobra Rocket
You don't alwayds have a Cobra rocket!
Well you should have thought of that before you used them all!

;)

If you use them all killing Atlas's and then run out well then it's not my fault.

Now what's annoying me is what I'm getting in the packs. I keep buying the more expensive one but I keep getting characters I've already got, and weapons I've already got, it's kinda annoying.

The cover system REALLY needed an upgrade, getting in and out of cover is a complete mess and since the enemies love to spam grenades it gets annoying.
I've never really had a problem with Mass Effect's cover system. Although apparently I'm the minority.

Just a tip: Engi's WRECK shield dudes. If you put a combat drone behind them, then they turn around to fight the drown and you shoot them in the butt.
True that's what I've been playing as, for some reason Atlas' and Guardians love Drones, they'll frequently turn to face them and ignore everything else. Overload helps to to make them fall back, slow them up and get some free shots in.

That and Call a combat drone and watch assist bonus' fill up even when you have no idea where the enemy was.

I've had some issues with covering or popping up to aim but most of the time it's fine, the rolling when you don't want to is the worst. Had one game though that when I started I couldn't move without rolling for a while, I'd just run on the spot.
I will admit that the ONE issue I have been having is that when an Ally goes down and I need to revive, Shepard will suddenly feel the need to hug a wall right by the downed guy really badly.

Well, usually in a round you fight 3-4 Atlases. I usually use one Cobra rocket a round to ration them and then take out the rest using bullets/powers. However, if I save that rocket, I have one left if an Atlas is the target for a VIP mission.

*sigh* Damn you ME3, you give me so many possibilities. Fuck, that's not an ME3 thing, that's a Bioware thing. I'm already looking at all the different class/race combos. Hell, even the Krogan Soldier, I'm seeing where instead of being a meleeish tank, he can be an anti-armor and semi anti-shields specialist. Which is something I'd really want to do since it seems I need more help on the difficult armored enemies than I do on swarms of lesser normal enemies.

YOU CAN BE A KROGAN?!? LOLOLOLOL THATS THE BEST THING IVE EVER HEARD IN A GAME EVER

Seriously people? Why does everyone think Krogan's are the strongest, most bad ass, smashiest things in all of fiction? Did we forget what a goddam orc is? Like....ugh.
And whilst we're at it, why don't we throw a proper SPESS MEHREN at the Reapers? Job done, we can all go home.
Hell, did you see the amount of collectors they fought at the end of ME2? ONE spess mehren coulud take out all of that, and at the beginning of the game too, because he doesn't need to sleep with a chicken-legged alien with no immune system.
I was gonna agree with you about all this weird krogan love, but then you dissed Tali.
Quarians brought their condition onto themselves. They get no sympathy from me.

Back to the orcs, I think there may be a reason why we don't see a large number of them in game universes that already experienced the invention of gunpowder.

Totally agree with you.Warp with Asari adept is unbelievably fun not only is it actually powerful the sound effects and visuals that go with it make it seem even better and stasis is pretty damn funny if you pick your moment.

Well to be honest most of my skill points are towards concussion shots and inferno grenades. Apparently the fact that I got a Krogan as soon as I did is lucky as hell so I couldn't give you much advice on a different character as I haven't used anything besides the Krogan at the moment.

Specifically I'm using the Matlock rifle along with the Mantis sniper rifle. I use the Matlock/melee attacks to deal with Assault Troopers/Centurions/Nemesis/Phantom and then switch to the Mantis when I'm trying to get a headshot on the Guardians or looking to take down a turret from a distance....as strong as my health and shields are a turret will still make mincemeat out of me. Hopefully that's something they'll fix in the full release.

Although there's always the chance that turrets don't need any change and I'm just being a moan because they tear me apart. ^_^

This will all be acceptable as long as all the time i spend playing the demo multiplayer will reward me when the full game drops, either with unlocks or with a decent sized chunk of credits or whatever.

I don't think that is happening.

I very much doubt it. Isn't this practice and, more importantly, fun, enough?

I don't wanna be chicken little or anything, but who can see this happening about a month after the full game drops?

"Now, those who don't want to wait for random item drops can purchase the character / weapon of their choice for the low low price of US$4.99 800 Bison Dollars each."

Actually, that or something similar is quite likely.

For instance, I imagine the post-launch DLC will focus on the multiplayer since there's not going to be much in the way of viable story-driven possibilities once the whole reaper situation is done with.

It'll be interesting to see if they stoop to $15 map packs.

To be honest, I'm fine with that. It's co-op, if someone wants to pay 5 bucks to unlock something, what do I care. I'd rather keep my five bucks and actually enjoy the character progression.

Interesting logic. This is the gaming forum meant for gaming discussion. Not a place for biodrones to wank each other off.
your insulting people so where is this gaming discussion you speak of becuase to be honest I'm having a hard time seeing it at least from you
