The thing I love most about the videos is the holiday clothes all the zombies are wearing.

I will be more than willing to pay another $60 for Left 5 Dead (I refuse to refer to the game as anything but this). L5D looks like it's going to be bringing enough to the table to be worth the purchase of a new game. New Weapons are going to be a huge boon towards the Survivor side, even if (I assume) the Pistol will now have limited ammo to make room for the Melee Weapons (Perhaps one person picks up the melee weapon, that is it? No multiple pickups?) An Improved AI Director that will actually change the routes that you have to take through the new, larger levels? Twice as many levels than the last game?

It might not be perfect, but I'm going to buy it.

I officially stop giving a damn about Valve games. I refuse to pay for them if they are going to release another game OF THE SAME SERIES, A MULTIPLAYER GAME, half a year later.

Jesus, could you cry some more? Why does it hurt you that a new game is coming out just after you bought the old one? You can still play L4D like before.

Yes, I am sure that not even 50% of the current player base will buy the new game, and only half of us (at best) will stay.

Also let's not forget that once a sequel comes out, the previous game lands in the "ABANDONED FOREVER" box. You might get a patch now and then. But don't even think about DLC or anything like that.

Besides, that's just a dick move. "We make a game, then instead of making new content for it, we will immediately after 8 months release a sequel, so you either buy it or stay with your crappy old and unsupported game". That's like Blizzard making another 3 WoW expansions month after month. So you have to buy them all or you can't play the "new content" that could've been added with a patch or two.

/sigh. Its not coming out 'half a year later' its coming out A year later, (Ok so its off by 2 days. Go flame it then.) But listen here - The COD games all have a 1 year gap, except cod 1 to cod 2, but since then its 2005 - Cod 2, 2006, cod 3, 2007, cod 4, and 2008, cod 5...And later in 2009, guess what? Cod 6.

And those were all good games. SO CALM, THE FECK, DOWN. Thank you.

CoD 3 was an abomination.

And they are not Multiplayer-based games. They have potent single-player.

No, theres day and night levels. The zombies act differently in the day light, like they can see you from further away, and you have the "Wandering Witch", who is basically the oridinary Witch escept she wonders around, making it hard for you to avoid her.

Ah, well that makes it already seem a bit better then what I was thinking. I hope the new characters will be as charming as the were before, that's kinda made me love the first Left 4 Dead the most.

Hmm, well that "wandering witch" thing would make avoiding them easier in some cases... sitting in front of the safe house when I am trying to get the acheivment for avoiding you... You arent a witch you're a b...

Oh jesus god please PLEASE do not let them introduce these new characters in that new setting... I don't want to be a jerk or anything but they look like stereotypical Louisiana goers. A reverend? The local restraunt owner? Some trucker guy with a fish net cap? Plus the cap just makes me think of those douchebag hick guys from the movie Deliverance.

Keep the old characters, and add in the new elements! I have grown attached to Bill, Zoey, Francis, and Louis, and I am going to go crazy if you just let their story end as it did. Please, PLEASE Valve if your going to introduce new characters at least retain the old ones... I feel as if I don't like these new replacements already.

On the plus side the incendiary ammo is just plain kick ass.
