1. Political correctness. It is ridiculous to believe we can change language as to not offend others. Laughable really.
2. Racism. I'm sorry, but these days racism isn't as bad as it used to be and has been used more as a tool of politicians who want to shout down those who don't agree with them or people who screwed up somewhere in their life and want someone other than themselves to blame. Yes there are racists in the world but these days everyone has opportunity and its up to you to make life work for you or not.
3. Any media source being touted as "unbiased." Here's a hint, they aren't. All of them have agendas, and that involves demographics, money and sensationalism. Quotes taken out of context to make a story bigger than it is, or reporting the small percentage of people at protests with ignorant signs or attitudes as being the same attitude as the whole group. Fox News is not alone being biased and misreporting things.
4. Corporate hate. Not all corporations are evil, soulless, greedy bastards. A lot of these corporations employ a vast number of people, putting food on their tables and clothes on their backs and providing the rest of society with things we enjoy. Creature comforts of the modern society.
5. Socialism. I'm sorry but socialism will not work in our society. No matter what, unless you have found a way of genetically engineering human beings to lead us who are not corrupt or susceptible to corruption. There will always be haves, have-nots and there will always be people who work harder than others and lazy bastards who cut corners and try to find ways not to do their share. The only thing in life we have an equality in is birth and death. Everything else we make for ourselves.
6. Hating on religion because of extremists. Look, not everyone who is Christian, Muslim or whatever is like the WBC or Al Qaeda or {insert extremist group here}. Like all forms of society, there are good eggs and bad eggs. We're not apples or other fruit where one spoils the whole bunch. We are people and cannot be judged by the idiots who take things too far, too literal or just darn well believe stupid things. Note: I'm not religious at all, I just think people are entitled to their beliefs so long as they do not hurt or impede other people's lives and I also think that while you can't prove religion science is not infallible either. What we believe isn't important, and if it gives us strength to be the best people we can be then that is awesome in my book.
