Really? That seems an odd conclusion given you then appear to explain why it was a justified shooting and that she kind of deserved it.

Her actions definitely caused the event, she certainly presented a danger to the person in the way of her car, that still doesn't justify the shooting because the shooting was neither necessary nor sufficient to eliminate the danger. Shooting someone aiming a gun at you stops a threat in a way that shooting the driver of a moving vehicle decidedly does not.

This article talks about an ICE stop in Salisbury, North Carolina, with cellphone video showing the ICE agents (and a spokesperson later confirmed they were actual ICE agents), ordering the people in the traffic stop to stop recording because and to quote, “Do me a favor and turn off your video. You’re being detained right now, so you’re not free to record."

32 seconds into the video you posted, you can see the wheels spin out while still pointed to the left directly at the man.

Yes, with hindsight, we know he isn't run over and she was certainly just trying to escape. But she floored it with her vehicle aiming at a human being 5 feet in front of her, to evade arrest. How much do you need to degrade yourself to have such unwavering belief in her absolute purity?

She was parked perpendicularly on a 2 lane road, intentionally blocking ICE from leaving. She was asked repeatedly to move her car. She refused. She was then asked repeatedly to exit the vehicle because she did not comply. She refused. She then started to drive away with an ICE agent in front of her vehicle, and camera footage shows her knocking into said agent. At that point, that is assaulting an officer and they have every right to use lethal force to stop you from running them over.

Really though, he could’ve pretty easily dodged to his right but conversely the fact is they’re trained to draw their weapons and fire upon any perceived threat.
