IMO it all boils down to what is being derived from the distribution and flow of copy righted works, if its not trying to make money then it can not do any harm or damage as the market will make it to hard to sustain such a model the demand for free will be balanced with the cost of sharing stuff for free. This allows minor things like posts,clips,pictures,blogging,commentary,ect,ect and so on to be allowed without harming the publics right of free flowing expression and information.Therumancer said:

The problem is pro industry wants to say that what they sell to people is a temporary license that can be updated to be invalided whenever the copyright owner wishes.
