Did he just say putting Christopher Walken in any game no matter the setting or genre is a bad idea? Hey, it's thinking like that which is making it take so long to finish Episode 3.

Looking at what becoming part of a public company did to Infinity Ward, Pandemic, Rare...

...I'll take Valve time over public company any day. But for God's sake Gabe, finish Episode 3 already.

This guy... he's un-fucking-believable.

+30 internet points if you get that reference.
I do, but I'm trying to think up another reference that I can use to reply with the original reference, but I don't.

So I'll just do a similar one.

"I heard that, Curtis!"

Valve can do no wrong.

I HATE that Bioware joined EA.
Don't pop the champagne yet. Gabe and the other top Valve dogs won't be around forever and businesses can live for a very, VERY long time.

Let's just hope they train their pages well in the art of not selling out.

I never doubted it for a second Gabe, but it's good to hear nonetheless. I always figured a big part of the reason VALVe get things so right is because they are privately held, and long may they remain so.

Of course, they couldn't get away with making big games without a corporate sugardaddy if Gabe hadn't had all that lovely Microsoft lolly to start up with, so thanks BillG! (yeah, I don't say that a lot.)

Yes, I saw the spoony review too. :D

Well, it's good to hear Valve have their integrity. God bless 'em, I'm such a fanboy...

If they pick them all themselves then we can afford to be hopeful but I would also like to know they can weed out the devious fuckers.

Oh yes, and if we can't have him be a part of the actual storyline we can just have all the monitors in the game play this video

Also anyone mind helping me out with embedding the video for easier viewing?

Good news, all of it, except for the Walken bit.

Be fair, Gabe: putting Christopher Walken in a game would be fan-fucking-tastic. You know it to be true.

OK, maybe not in Half-Life or Portal, but he?d rock in Team Fortress 2 or something.
