MANICHUS TV - trying not to hold poor production value against people so I won't mention it too much, but I have to say this is easily one of the worst in it's design and edit with an obvious lack of decent equipment (I saw you mention you were filming using and eyetoy so less than ideal). It's unfortunate considering some of the high standard of the other entrants, it seems those lower down the technical food chain are being left behind but in a tie break situation the better produced film is always going to win and this film isn't really strong enough in it's writing to overpower the competition. Curiously the best joke in my opinion is the only joke that has nothing to do with gaming, the stabby chef, but all the jokes drag on a little too long and would have benefited from being quicker and punchier.

Thanks man, a fair review of things I would say. And I agree that the sketches should have been alot shorter and punchier, I think that was written down somewhere and then lost and forgotten... and probably caught fire

Do you know when the winners are announced?

Well, according to the contest information we've been given, sometime in vague period of the "week of the 8th." Otherwise, no, hence the anticipation. If I knew a specific day/time to check, I'd come then, and no sooner. As it is, I'm checking the site and my email every...well, let's just say a little too often. Hehe

Damn. For some reason I had convinced myself it would be announced today since it's an off-week for Doraleous.

My reasoning? *shrug*

Though I kind of expected to see the whole commentary thing up before the announcement of the winner. It's been a page or two since anyone asked, so I'll throw it out there again...Anyone know what is up with the whole commentary thing? It is a mystery to me.
