75% of Israelis are Jewish which makes it quite more multi-regigious but not exceptionary compared to those other countries. Nearly all of these countries have a long history of bloody fighting against other religions (crusading/jihad, killing of group x) and many muslim states still do.
Israel may be a religious state (similiar in the way US is), but they dont ban citizens of other religion from voting. There is little inherit racism there, just like us, even if we use Christian cross in our flag and have a Christian church as our state church.
