"It's just a lab coat, It's nothing special. It's not even that well made, tell you the truth." The man had turned his attention towards EMily, not returning the bow. "The name is Doctor Ferrum. Please none of this bowing, and pleasantries stuff though. I feel old enough as it is, little lady. You don't need to remind me of my youth as a kid in Victorian England." He said jokingly, wagging his finger at her as if he was scolding her.
EMliy smiled, not too put off by his personality.
"Haha, it's no biggie. I grew up where formalities and presentation were expected while working. So this is kind of a habit for me when meeting new people."

"Well I actually took the time out of my life to get two doctorates believe it or not, One in general science, and one in medicine. You wouldn't believe the student loans I had, they hired actual loan sharks to go after me! And yes, It's latin I believe."
"Oh wow! That's pretty cool!" She said, looking genuinely impressed. "I guess you could say right now we're working on our own doctorates in physics."

"Oh really? Well, I've been getting jobs as a ship doctor for awhile now, so that's not exactly strange to me. In fact a lot of people get jobs in space ships where I'm from. We practically have an entire economy based around space." After realizing the implications of what he said about the loan sharks he gave a good hearty laugh for a while. "I meant that they sent thugs after me, real 'break your leg' type of guys. Although if I waited any longer to pay, they might have sent literal loan sharks after me!"
A clarification of the fight rules was suddenly available on the wall, though how it came there was a mystery. Arena battles will continue until one combatant is soundly defeated, and their life at the mercy of their foe. Then, and only then, may they yield. Premature surrender will not be accepted, and may incur penalties.
Once Annika had her opponent on the ground, the light around her injured leg faded. Annika placed her hands on Idun's shoulders, holding her down. Annika's hands glowed brighter, most of her strength being used to keep Idun pinned or, at the very least, limit the amount of force she could put into the headbutt.
The bear stopped attacking Idun, and instead moved in as fast as he could. He could feel the magic binding his spirit fading as he approached the other combatants.

Possessing significant physical strength, Annika would fail to completely pin Idun down, although she would be able to slow down Idun's attempt to headbutt Annika, the force in it being reduced to just a hard blow that would be unlikely to do significant damage.
If Annika was knocked off of Idun, or got off on her own, Idun would flick her thumb towards Annika. This would make the glow of Annika's hand shimmer for a split second, where-after the light would solidify in the form of a spike stabbing at the adductor pollicis muscle in her hands.
If Annika didn't get off, Idun would try to wrap her legs around Annika's, then apply large amounts of pressure in an attempt to break the bones.

Annika was stunned by the blow, and was unable to get off before Idun attempted to break Annika's legs. Annika's hands stopped glowing, the energy moving to the points Idun was putting pressure on. Annika was focused on preventing her legs from breaking, rather than attacking Idun.
However, the bear was still able to attack, and rushed for Idun. He moved under her back, and placed his paws between her spine and shoulder blades. Immediately, Idun would notice an intense heat coming from the bear's paws, in the form of two small, blue flames.

The blue flames being pressed against her flesh, Idun let out a shrill shriek, the intense heat of the flames burning her flesh away in the nearest vicinity where the flames where, while receiving 2nd degree burns further from there. Unable to keep her hold on Annika as she was burned, Idun's grip loosened. Unwillingly, tears welled up in her eyes.
When the pain diminished due to her nerve ends becoming too damage, Idun grit her teeth, and lifted her left arm, which manifested a rainbow path underneath Idun, carrying her forwards. Should Annika have moved away from Idun as she was burned, Idun would try and grab one of Annika's limbs in-between Idun's right forearm and bicep, dragging her along the path.

With the path not being very wide, Annima would partially skid over the ground. With Annika in her grasp, Idun steered the rainbow path to curve around and move over the edge of the cliff, quickly heading towards it.
Turning her head, Idun looked to see if she had escaped the bear, unable to spot it, as it had jumped onto her shoulders. This became quickly apparent as it start to burn her neck. She would let out a scream, which was cut short as the fire melted through her cervical vertebrae, killing her. As the rainbow path faded, Idun's body would skid over the edge of the cliff, plummeting to the depths.
A few moments after this, the arena setting returned to its default state, and Annika was declared the winner, the steel doors opening.

Annika stayed on her knees for a while as she healed, slightly in shock. After the announcement telling her to leave, Annika picked up her bear and staggered out of the arena. The glowing light caused by the ring spirit had fully faded by the time she was out.
Sara winced when reading the word "penalties".

Annika spotted the Mason sisters nearby, looking over their clothing curiously. She was now holding her teddy against her chest, as she recovered from the fight. Annika's bare feet and jeans were covered in dirt from the fight, and her long, blonde hair had gone a little wild. By this point, her physical injuries had all been healed.
EMily and the others spotted Annika coming into the locker room. Since the televised fight had just ended, EMily didn't say a word about it. She was just a little stunned to see her in such good condition after such a brutal sortie.
"Hello. Are you okay?"
