I was worried people would die, but they never did. I dont know that ive had a game where i cared so much about the characters.

First time I saved them all, I took one quick look at a guide to get the right dialogue choices with Morinth, but it was logical enough. Yes, I killed Samara >. Can't go wrong with Garrus as team captain!

The first time I only lost Mordin. And that was because I skipped over his loyalty quest completely. I thought that Wrex would be none to happy about assisting Dr. Genophage so I didn't go. And completely missed out on a really damned good quest because of it. I like Mordin a lot more now that I've seen his growth as a character. Subsequent play throughs gave me a 100% survival rate, except once when I tried to get the maximum number of folk killed. Got all but three, because I decided to do it late in the game and had some loyalty I couldn't get rid of.

1st playthrough I lost Grunt to seeker swarms cause Miranda fails (genetically perfect, my ass). Thane died cause it never occured to me that assasins aren't natural born leaders. Already my 2 favourite characters bit the dust. Then Tali died because it was her or legion. Somehow Jack, who I was willing to shoot in the fucking skull just to make her shut up, survived. 2nd playthrough miranda and grunt died. On my current playthruogh I really don't want Grunt to die again. Frist time was sad but second was just annoying.

Everyone survived on my first playthrough. Its really not hard saving everyone, just complete their loyalty missions and pick the right member for the tasks and you should be fine.

Well I lost Legion, Jacob and Zaeed in what was going to be my transfered Shepard, but I'm going to be doing another one now that I have Kasumi. We'll see how well that one goes, though I imagine it will be pretty good since by now I know most of the ins and outs of why people die in the final mission.

Lost Jack, legion and Thane on the ship, then lost Grunt and Mordin in the fight. Played it again and kept everyone, but that first run is my personal canon.

my first play I lost Jack, Thane, and Zaeed (he was a dick). Then I got a perfect one my second time.

I was actually debating between Legion's loyalty mission and a random mission after activating the IFF.....I chose legion (thankfully) because right when my crew got abducted I was like "awwww shiz, *sigh* I guess I will go get 'em right away" (I am glad I did that too, or else I would of had to feed my own fish apparently.

Had Jack die on my first playthru, but everybody survived in the second run.

yeah. but zaeed died on my first run as well. i just could not settle the jack-miranda fight without taking sides, so i decided i didnt like jack as much. hell, i still couldnt settle it on my second run, she just didnt die because i left all the heavy hitters as meat shields to hold off the guys while i killed the reaper

I had loyalty of all, and had the Miranda - Jack fight setteled(Miranda was already loyal at the time so sided with Jack i believe). I chose Jack for fireteam leader(or was it in the vents as tech expert) wich I think is the reason she died for me. Didn't like her anyways heh

Everyone survived on my first playthrough. Never used a guide, just didn't skip important things. Keeping everyone alive is easy.
