So I learned today that the movie's climax occurs in the Philippines (even though they didn't shoot a single scene here, how nice). After all the years of poking fun at Drake stealing from ancient civilizations, it's amusing to be the civilization being stolen from. Also, wasn't this plotline basically what was being teased in the Nathan Fillion fan film? That's just weird.
Still haven't seen the movie though. I can't wait for them to do the classic "the Philippines is just a bunch of islands and jungles" thing. I guess we don't have enough interesting architecture to blow up.
