Oh god, please no. Just no. You can't make a sequel to the watchmen. that's just wrong. Doublely so from my point of view cause i still havn't forgiven Warner, DC and Zack snyder for messing with the ending. I was so pissed off at that, I almost walked out of te cinema. GRRRRRRR RAGE. Fucking with graphic novels = bad.

They can make it, and I won't buy it. I'm sure others will.

Ah, life in a capitalist economy. It's good, no?

I never read the comic... sorry graphic novel but I enjoyed the movie immensely and it did give the sense that this is over now [/storyline].

another Watchmen movie would be akin to Frodo returning from the Grey Havens duel wielding claymores and shooting lightning bolts from his fingers. It would be a cheap cash-in, Tolkien would rise from the grave to smite the big-wigs from New Line, and I would be found three days later in my shower like a rape victim still trying to wash the unclean off of me because I paid for the Watchmen 2 Frodinator double feature. 'Cause I'm a hopeless fanboy and that's how we roll

Ok... Going to answer a rumor with a question. I'm a little bit rusty on how Watchmen ended but I am pretty sure I remember that the city that they were in was blown to shit and their enemy was dead. Please correct me if I am wrong also Manhattan I think his name was is on Mars. So now my question how in the hell do you go from that? Not to get anyone wrong either I loved Watchmen!

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO.
On the behalf of our bearded friend Alan Moore: FUCKING HELL NO.
Watchmen is DONE. It has a definite END.

(For the record if a Watchmen 2 would come to exist, I would have to read/watch/whatever it, but I wouldn't in my lifetime pay money for it. I would pirate it, because it is worth nothing in any currency.)

The article hit the proverbial nail on the head. Unless Alan Moore writes whatever additional content is on the cards, this project must die.

I was actually referring to that very video! I guess I should have posted it in my comment.
I figured you were, but yes, you should have posted it, because it is just that spectacular.

Not buying it. I enjoyed the movie, despite not knowing the novel-- in fact, it led me to grab and enjoy the book-- but the story is done as is.

I'm thoroughly against Watchmen 2. Posts like yours are going to make me all for it. What do you really want?
Well it is awkward. Just like that godawful sex scene with the fat hero and the dominatrix with bangs. Hated the movie, one of the few times I felt completely robbed (mostly of time) coming out of a theater. And no I didn't read the comic. I heard about the squid, though. Allrighty.

And this is why Alan Moore hates comic book executives. But no, I would not buy it. I would illegally download it off of the internet just to say, "Suck it."
Someone else with a hollow excuse for piracy that can be boiled down to "I want to own it but don't want to pay for it". How droll.
Um, no. I would read it, then delete it afterward. And that, my dear sir, makes my comment not an excuse to wanting to own something without pay. Seriously, why would I want to own something I hate? Makes no sense. And please, don't make random assumptions about people by twisting their words to make a totally different meaning out of the statement.

IMMA FIRIN' MAH LAZERBLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH

Literally, I am so full of nerdish rage I could rip apart a bear. Or maybe even bite a huge chunk out of a hardback book.

On a side note, is anyone else getting the 'Neverending Story' vibe here? Amazing book, changed ending (?) on film... Then a few sequels that rape the source material. It could happen, you know.
