OOC: I meant as in coolness. Sure mechs have ridiculous power but thats what makes Guardsmen awesome. In a universe filled with alien monster, genetic monstrosities and technology that approaches sorcery in its sophistication the Imperial Guard are just plain humans. Armed with a Flak jacket and a Lasgun they hold the line against humanities foes with overwhelming firepower, faith in the emperor and a bayonet with some guts behind it.

OOC: Varger, in ancient norse Vargr means wolf so I change it a little and used it for the protagonist of my novel and the OC in this RP.

Just for my own sake, how tough is their armor? Can I penetrate it with a sniper rifle, or even an SMG/knife?

As the cloud connected and Arakune's prey was cursed, the blob noticed two things out of the corner of his figurative eye. One, there was an armoured soldier charging towards him. Two, the world around him was exploding. Arakune tried to run away, calling his bug minions to attack the cursed man and cover his retreat.

Several explosion and other shots pepper Varger and he expects that he has been killed as he falls to his knees. He looks at his arms which are burned and cut revealing grey nerve endings with blue lights runnung across them and several whirring pieces of Faelon and the joints. Varger sways slightly before he hears Defensive options engaged, phase field generated. His ENE reading drops to 80% but he manages to stand and start shooting at the Stormtroopers.

OOC: sorry i thought it was clear since Arakune and Varger are the only two doing anything.

The stormtroopers took cover against the return fire and started moving out of the building all the while using covering fire to help escape.

The knight was rather startled by the explosions, however he has seen odder things, and quickly looks for the source of the explosions as the "lasgun" fire rains down a moment later.
