Jean started to wake up more and sat up.

"Something this group is doing... Something about a book?"

Phoenix yawned lightly as she eventually woke up. "[sub]Good... Good morning..."[/sub]

"Of ultimate power?" Halt asked. This was seeming quite familiar for some reason

"Hey Phoenix. Sleep well?" Jean asked as she scooted away from Phoenix.

"Heck if I know." Katrina shrugged.

"Yeah.. I did... Uuhhh... About yesterday.... Uuhh..."

"Well if we don't know how powerful the book is than what's the point of fighting than"

"...Yeah?" Jean asked.

"Don't ask me." Katrina shrugged again, defensively.

"UUhh... What I really... eerr... Wanted to ask you was... If you would... [sub]Like to go on a dinner date with me?[/sub]"

"Well must not be important than" Halt started to take inventory of all the stuff in his pack which was incredibly small for all of the stuff it carried

"Dinner date...[sub]date...[/sub]Uh, Phoenix...We're friends...I'm happy that way...aren't you?" Jean asked, suddenly very nervous.

Katrina watched as Halt started taking stuff out of his pack. It really didn't surprise her. Adventurers back home had enchanted backpacks to hold whatever was needed.

"I... I just wanted to know that's all." Phoenix looked away, nervous as well. Well... At least I know now though.

 

[Demonjazz]

Halt continued to take stuff out. There was a lot of money for a person who lived in a forest. There was also a bunch of magical trinkets. There was a lighter, assorted bottles with magical properties, and a staff that all it did was stand on end without being held "You know I don't remember getting half of this stuff. I'm seriously starting to wonder why exactly anybody would enchant stuff with these properties"

"Right...o-okay then..." Jean said, then gave a nervous laugh.

Katrina just shook her head. "How much stuff did you loot?"

Phoenix turned back to Jean. "This... This doesn't affect... Our relationship... Does it?"

"No! No...I mean...as long as you want to keep things the same as they have been..." Jean replied.

 

[Demonjazz]

"Well there was just all this magical stuff sitting in this castle. Along with a bunch of hidden temples. There always seems to be a person who gets attacked by the inhabitants of those places. And the adventures helping with that happen to go through the forest I'm protecting"

Phoenix nodded at Jean. "Thank you Jean..." Phoenix let out a smile.

"Uuuuhhh... Huh. Right. Must have been fun, I guess." Katrina gazes out alittle.

"No the popular belief of adventuring being fun is actually a lie. And don't mention the work of having to dismantle the dungeon just in case you forget a significant piece of loot"

Jean just smiled and patted Phoenix on the shoulder.
